  • Oh wow, yeah I remember that day. I came from Calgary and just picked up my brother and his gf. They both visited Canada the first time (from Germany) and we ran into this monster. It reached down all the way from the north west to the south east (drayton valley to calgary) with weird no storm pockets. We had to stop the car on hwy 2 cuz you could not see and the water piled up so high it was like driving through a lake. Right after the dry season :D. Wicked day, scarry too.

  • scary! O>O one time i was up north we had our camper... this derecho came in and flipped our camper over 10 times... (we were our eating)  the winds were 120 mph... it took the whole campsite OUT!

  • we were at drumheller (bleriot ferry campgrounds) when this hit. we almost lost everything that we had. our car was broken down in drumheller so we had no shelter..thought for a min. we all might die in a tornado..

  • we were at sylvan when it hit, quite a nite, then rocky moutain house got an insane electrical storm the next night
