Plus on BBC they presented it in black and white when it was filmed in color on purpose. Also, drugs was a major deal here.

I think this film bombed so bad because it was scheduled to go on british television in boxing day and REALLY hyped up by papers and i guess people just wanted a hour long version of "help" with a few nice songs to while the hour away and they got this.
