@sutton123454 I'm glad you ask the questions. I get some people who just comment how much they can't stand it when people scratch build non-forgeworld models..... but the models they reference did not even exist at the time of filming.
@doremicom yeah, atleast you answer on your video's! i'm new so when i ask questions i like that they are answered so i know, this Warhammer game is confusing at times lol
actually the chapter is called the maltese Crosse. The reason is that we wanted to play an apoc game where I was not templars. So I used (then current Space MArine Codex - 4th ed) and created my own chapter called the maltese crosse, while still using my BT. The symbol on the BT shoulder pad is a maltese crosse. Hope that answers the question.
pro: strength in number they are cheap and have a huge squade sizes for the smaller creatures. con:no little to no anti-tank capability, best chance is a venom cannon on a carnifex. to see all the tyranid units watch my video at my page.(its the only one there)plz leave any questions about 'nids and ill find out and make a video or something.

this is a poor excuse for an apoclypse army dude!! sorry to say
wait till i get my space marine army finished been stock pilling, i have 60 marines, 5 assult troops and a preditor so far, hoping to get some more heavy armour, currently working on a tau army which is looking good lol
well its good to see some people with good armys..maybe someday we will meet, and your preditor will have to deal with my canrifew......and all his amrour upgrades >:D
ok i have the space marines codex and i dont see alot of stuff i see ppl playing like your fighter is there any place i can find these so i can design and build my own?
nice, not the best army ive seen ( loosing points coz its not ultramarines :) but yeah like your style. i dont like scratch building stuff it sometimes looks crummy but urs are ok. i recently bought a baneblade and oh boy is it sweet!
That's a good catch, totally did not see that rule. I was using the asset card print outs that GW has on their site, and that rule isn't stated on there. Since we had the cards we didn't double check the Apocalypse rule book.
Again great catch, I really like making sure I'm playing with all the correct rules.
You have some nice fliers and a titan, especially from scratchbuild...though, your Lightning looks a tad light..by the way you were handling it.OH GOD 3 lightnings
The lightnings are 90% styrofoam, so they're fairly light. And yes, the Tyranid player was shocked when I broke out 3 scratch built lightnings for the game.
lol u named the bio titan bridget? thats pretty funny

i don't get why you make your own? im confused...

@sutton123454 This video went up 3 years ago. Most of the Apoc stuff was Forgeworld only and incredibly expensive. This includes the Trygon.

@doremicom ohh makes sense, i'm new to the game so i don't know! lol

My opponent knew I was building scratch build fighters and planning on using them in a game. We discussed it ahead of time.

Oh and I didn't have an issue with his scratch built trygons.

lightning fighters? arent they called Thunderbolt fighters?
Noname9000000 2 years ago
both kinds of fighters exist. Lighting fighter data sheet exists in the Imperial Armour books.
doremicom 2 years ago
thunderbolt fighters are sorta like a modern day A-10 warthog. a lightning is about like an F-22 raptor.

what is that huge purple tyranid monster?
nunamon 3 years ago
It's the Tyranid Bio-Titan, I have to look up the name, but it's 1250 points to field and is effectively the same as a Reaver Titan.
doremicom 3 years ago
It's called the heirophant and it's pretty badass
