@jonsie82 For some odd reason I can't find your latest reply so I will put it here. Sorry you have had such negative experiences, but have you thought perhaps some of the Canadians you have met who didn't say anything negative weren't actually hiding something but rather just didn't have any negative things to say to you? I of course don't know the people you know so can't be sure, but I think we both know regardless where you go there are a-holes and a-ngles. I think we can leave it at that

@FearOfTheFlesh Well, I always try to believe the best in people. Maybe that`s true, they did not have something negative to say? Maybe not. I just find life easier when people are direct and forward with others. But you`re right, there are dickheads everywhere.

I've been in the canadian forces for a year now and i would really like to see those fox news host go to afghanistan and fight with the canadian soldiers they are insulting, maybe they would learn a little bit about the world around the US instead of living their little ignorant lives.

God love the Canadians and all of our kids that served, serve or have been taken away.
Red Eye is a comedy show. It's not a news show like Face the Nation. It's on par with the Daily Show or Colbert Report.

And if you are going to tell me about what Canadians see of the US is negative you are very mistaken..what Canada gets as US coverage is mostly from the US, as most Canadians have cable or satellite that feeds predominantly the channels you watch in the US..e.g. FOX, ABC, CNN, NBC, CBS, PBS, CW, BBC America, etc.
This continuous bashing has already made younger Canadians dislike the US more than their parents.

There is way more anti americinsm in Canada than anti-canadianism in the U.S. At least Americans who dislike canada are direct with their comments(and no im not refering to FOX news) im talking about the U.S public. Whereas Canadians gossip about Americans and say how ignorant they are. hmm, who is the ignorant on, again?

I'm damn proud to be a Canadian and hope to join our armed forces in a matter of months. I don't believe for a second that most Americans feel this way as I know many who are grateful for Canadian soldiers laying down their lives while serving alongside Americans troops. Don't let vermin like Greg Gutfeld divide us when we should stand shoulder to shoulder with pride.

The US invaded Canada in 1812, they made 5 attempts to take our country and failed. 95 First Nations peoples destroyed 200 American riflemen and they didn't even have any guns. Of course we have a smaller military we have 1/10th the population dumb ass. And we don't have a permanent war economy either. We've never lost a war, how about you? *cough* Vietnam *cough*

A Canadian soldier made the longest sniper shot then was beaten by another Canadian shortly after, damn fine marksmanship I'd say. A credit to your country, I am an Aussie BTW.
