  • how you get chocobos?

  • this is a very fast way to earn cp, even faster than those alternatives those guys r posting below except u dont need to mount the choco just walk up t oit then go back to the behemoth :) thanks for the guide tho helped me alot

  • @hitmun007 not to mention using a growth egg

  • can someone help me how do u get very high lvls and other character that easy

  • This is NOT the fastest or easiest. If you have growth egg. Which is 2x CP. You can go where the little imp things are and go all the way to the back they take less time and give you 800 more CP.

  • thank u:)

  • ... why do you need a chocobo? its pointless??

  • @mcdrew364 it's not, they get you around a lot faster and give you access to new areas and missions that would be unreachable without them :)

  • i found a better way to grind cp go to my channel

  • how r u guys like at lvl 10 cp im only at lvl 4

  • Comment removed

  • TO ALL WHO WATCH THIS VIDEO: This is NOT the fastest way to level up!! Go to Mah'habara cavern and find the battle with six Cryohedrons (take two lefts past Atomos after he bridges the gap). It gives you 7140CP (14280 with the Growth Egg) and takes from 3 to 17 seconds for three Commandos, depending on your strength and equipment. Walk back toward Atomos for about 15 seconds than turn around - the bombs will have respawned. 107000+ CP in 10 minutes.

  • hey just a question but how do you get preemptive strike? i always thought it was automatic or from sneaking up behind them or somethin…could someone clarify?

  • As for this vs. cactuar prime, I actually calculated them at

    This ~ 1M CP/hr

    Cactuar Primes ~ 1.2M CP/hr

So cactuar is a bit faster, but only if you are very high level (like, I had at least 5,5,5,3,3,3 crystariums). You can utilize this farm much more easily earlier on in the game, and use cactuars to finish off rank10 crystarium after Orphan.

  • 13200 per fight

80 battles per hour (even with a 6 sec battle, it takes about 45 sec per battle when reseting)

    ~ 1,050,000 CP per hour.

  • not fastest way,

    Try a catuar 30000cp in 47 sec.

walk 25 meters away come back and again.

10 times u got 300000cp very fast way.

  • When do you get a chocobo? ANYONE???

  • @hawjsta You can get to the chocobos if u beat that first red cieth stone. The mission where you have to kill some giant cieth by the cliffs. Then you have to do another mission where the chocobos are gettin attacked by those water birds or wutev. That'll let you get on one.

  • @hawjsta to unlock the chocobos u must complete all the first 14 missions

when u complete nº14, chocobo riding becomes your new ability

  • im onyl lvl 3 in the crystarium and i died trying to defeat this -_-

  • @Damnedsoul53 ….im in level 7 of crystarium and im not even this far yet. wait where is this anyway?

  • @DarkRoseKnight16 Grand Pulse

  • But my set up was com+com+com with 1200+ str on each person (easily done with auto bravery and haste on ea person) which makes each person attack a different monstor and ends the battle in either 5-6 seconds pending on your set up.

I have ended this on in a record time of 4 seconds.

  • This is the best place in the game to level hands down. I have tested everything and i made an average of 13,200xp ( i think thats what you get per fight) every 37.5 seconds if you run the valley route to reset them.

  • no need to get on the chocobo, just run to the chocobo then run back.

  • mine only lasted 13sec =D. the average time from this running back and forth is bout 2-3fights/min if im not mistaken its round 13600cp x 2 x 10= 272,000/10min imagine if your grinding for 1hour you will have 16,320,000cp correct me if you may but i tink that should be enough to power up at all your characters grid.

  • @YaBoyKrime holy bad math batman...

    272,000x10 =/= 16,320,000...

i dont know if i should lol, or loll

  • @TheControlledAnger

You're right, it isn't. You're both doing it wrong. Assuming 2-3 fights per minute, ~272k CP over 10 minutes, you'd multiply by 6 to get an estimate of CP earned per hour, which would be ~1,632,000 CP. Kid added an extra zero, big deal.

  • @TheControlledAnger hahahaha..ma bad thanks for the correction though.but its worthit. i finished the storylinen already.but im trying to finish the whole game.im still trying to explore some good grinding spot.the Titans trial is one good one place but needs certain lvl to finish that place.

  • Get the growth egg first. It doubles CP! you have to beat neochu for it mission 55. I'm maxing all characters at once. 20 preemptive battles with king behemoth and megistorian is worth 264,000 CP, and each battle last only 15 sec.

  • Sorry, but there are many, many other places to fight that are a lot faster.

  • U can beat them in 1 turn with lightning/snow/fang all using commando if fang has enough damage. If not, you only need 1 more attack so u can press triangle after the first bar loads up.

  • @darktwinbladez you can beat this guy in one turn. my fastest kill on this guys are 12sec.

  • my strat is

    Fang/Light/Hope

com / rav / rav relentless assault

    com/ com/ rav agression

    sen/ med/ med combat clinic

sab/ rav / rav smart bomb

    sab/ rav/ syn guerilla

fourth and the last ones are optional and have sab rav syn as your default then switch to 1'st to get the stagger and then 2'nd n when the health goes low switch to 3'rd

  • for the low lvl people

    go like this

    lighting / fang / hope

    rav / com / rav

and you can beat them easy.

  • you dont have to get on the chocobo..

  • how long should u do this about

  • @mrmevs66 Yeah i did all the missions.Iits way better with the growth egg. It goes way faster. :):):) At the moment im busy with the weapons and getting my last 2 trophies. And its a pain in the ass getting those damn Trapezohedron. I have 3 things equiped for finding (extra) rare items and its still all about luck. Have only 1 so far :S.

  • At orphan Cradle, before you enter in the last room against Disley, you got an enemy with 32000 exp if you can beat him. Take protect, bravery and haste and fight 2 minutes. Save, quit, load and repeat.

  • DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS!

UNLESS YOU'VE BUFFED FROM LATER STAGES YOU STAND NO CHANCE SURVIVING ONE OF THEIR SHOTS.

  • @Awezumi Nah its possibble you just need to take care of the Behemoth, the othe thing is pretty easy

  • @Awezumi Its actually really easy I was doing it as soon as i got to pulse, you can kill the behemoth before he gets a hit off because of the pre emptive strike and use the strategy charlieb5 said except I used Hope and Sazh to buff up Light with enfire and haste behemoth in the air cant do anythin to you then and whoever you have as your commando brings the pain on him.

  • i found a way to kill these 2 guys quickly (1min tops) get fan, vanille and light in your party. make fang a commando and the other 2 ravagers. when the battle starts wait until light and vanille start attacking the behemoth and make fang attack it too, youll make the behemoth enter stagger and fang will launch him to the sky, so just juggle the behemoth with the ravagers and if he falls launch him again with fang, then just take care of the other guy wich is much easier.... let me know how u do

  • HOW DO U GET THE CHOCOBO!??? lol jk

  • yeah im getting them killed in about 17-18 sec :D . only i think 6600 points are not enough for me. its going too slow.... i need a lot more points way quicker.... where else can i go?

  • My personal favorite is run between the two cacturs in the center of grand pulse, 10 k each with growth egg and after you kill six the seventh is worth 20000k. Battle goes quick too, maybe 1-2 mins each. But this works well too.

  • fuck man ! right now im in gran pulse and my health for most characters is in the 1000s and i hit like 1000 average :/ u hit 5000 average ???!

  • @cobalt1201 i hit around 50k average on those things unstaggered? you must be weak still.

  • you people don't get confused. You would notice that this person is using some weapons on 'crack', and has already gotten himself to a level where he can tango with these types of beasts. If most of you try to jump in that fire you will get killed with one swipe. K3V408, I think most people are looking for a way to get their fighters to where you are currently at.

  • a much more faster way of getting cp is getting the growth egg. 2x the CP

  • theres a much better area for this kind of thing. take a choccobo or whatever to the area where the huge dinosaur looking beasts are. slay all of the smaller ones and work your way up towards an area where you will see pairs of behemoth kings everywhere. if you kill em you get 8000 cp and since theyre everywhere you get a lot. and if you kill these things properly you should be able to kill em in under a minute.

  • how do you get a chocobo?!?, (i just go to this level) . and i already have chaos rings, ohh!

  • @KillerBear111 read description

  • @K3V408 ..oh..

  • @K3V408 this ps3 or 360 ?

  • @KillerBear111 chaos rings?

  • It gets VERY frustrating near the 9th and 10th tiers of orbs... you need 60000 points to go just from one orb to the next.

  • you can just run arround the save point (stay on left side as you come from battle)

then go to the right towards the clifff

aim to hug the edge between the two pieces of grass and run along that back towards where they were and they will respawn

if you jump down you went to far to the left on the ledge

  • Good cp farming but after a while it gets a bit boring "/

  • lol hhhh i just bought the game so when i watched this video i was amazed !

i attack 50-150 right now but this guy attacks 5k+ ?!!!!

  • @RE4XNaruto men are u blind these are 60k and not 5k

  • man i wish i dealt that kind of damage :P (damage without stagger around 1-2k on most enemies damage with stagger between 10-15K on most enemies :P)

  • uh dude, where is this place

  • yeah ive done missions 1-26 and whatnot and the chocobos still wont let me mount them

  • @regidor1hender have u done the 14th one u have to do 1-14 or something

  • Sorry if this is asked before, but where is this place?

  • there is another place to fight them, where you dont need a chocobo

  • @andrewpocock1 where dude

  • Wouldn't you need to be at a certain level of strength first?

  • FINAALL FANTASSYYYYY. Wooot. xD I've seen some really good FFXIII parodies lately. They show cutscenes in Japanese, then change the subtitles to funny stuff :D Snow is a pedophile. xD I'm not surprised. ;]

  • God bless you, sir. I was getting tired of fighting cactars.

  • @sluggo06 lol I was thinking the same thing XD

  • @darkincarnation yeah, that got real old real quick.

  • in final fantasy 13, is the only way for respawns is restarting your game? also i haven't gotten too far in the game yet, so i'm not sure, but when you get farther in the game, does it let u choose where to go like most of the other final fantasies? because i have a hard time training them with the amounts of enemies, i have to like, restart just for them to respawn >.< lol please answer, thanks!!! :)

  • Here's my strategy:

1- make Light the party leader and Fang and Hope/sazh ur party members

    2- equip Lionheart for Light

3- make Light Commando , Fang Commando , Hope/Sazh Ravager

4- Kill the Behemoth ( the black monster) first then kill the other one

It will only take about 10 sec and u'll kill them

  • Use commando/commando/commando

Makes the fight 8 seconds long depending on your strength =)

  • Thanks K3V408 for the video, question: how did you get the money to upgrade your weapons to such a high level? Any tips for upgrading efficiently? Thanks

  • Thanks K3V408 for the video, question: how did you get the money to upgrade your weapons to such a high level? Any tips for upgrading efficiently? Thanks alot!

  • put the growth egg on and then its the faster way to level up

  • man what weapons u usin?

  • @lando9386 its da orginal weapons upgraded to lvl 20+ i think

  • @K3V408 ? fangs weapon isn't the same it should be bladed lance and i guess the others have the same weapon as the start

  • @HmongHeroo i dont really remember, it has been 4 months since i finished da game

  • @K3V408 oh lol lol it is

  • omg lol my characters are shit compared wi yours

  • i dont have chocobo, aniway there no real need of it, i just kill those and then the king behemot near the save point, then come back, in this way i got 6600+4000 in a matter of few minutes.

  • you don't have to use the chocobo, you just have to run far away enough for the enemies to respawn. just sayin'

  • I can do this in 10 seconds battle time, though it's 50 seconds overall to respawn. You get nearly 1m cp per hour, and I think it then takes about 10 hours of this battle to max your crystarium from the end of the story. I recommend not bothering, the end game in ffxiii is the most boring pointless thing I've ever done, there's no story, adventure or culture and it's not fun like a battle arena cos u spend so much time running around the ugly maps.

  • i just got to pulse....nuff said...any advice on cp grinding? i just finished mission 1 btw ^^'

  • Another option is right before the final boss (although you can't return to the section after clearing the game) - 3 fights right beside a save point each offer 32000-35000 and take roughly 1 minute. They aren't particularly difficult if you Libra'd them in the previous battles. If you want more info, let me know.

  • wow thats my method of getting fast levels up as well

  • i get 30000 cp here just by running back and forth fighting the mega thingy and behemoth and the behemoth king and cactuar on the top just from running back and forth ^_^

with the growth egg that is

  • help!! im on the 7th cie'th stone mission but my hp is only at arounf 1000 whereas most people's are at 4000+

  • If you're going to grind that fight over and over for a measly 6600 CP, it's better to just do Cei'th stone missions. You can do the first 28 by the time you reach oerba, unlock most of the waystones, and have 5k health by the end of the chapter.

  • @HappyFaceSticker

It might be a measly 6600 CP, but the battle is ~15 seconds. I do this too and my best is around 11 seconds. I timed myself once and earned about 120k in 10 minutes of grinding. You can do the math yourself and figure out how much that is per hour.

Obviously this is no record, but it is effortless, and respawning the monsters is quick and easy.

  • @prauz I forgot to mention it was 120k in 10 minutes using the growth egg

  • how do u get the chocbo bird thing? o.o plz help

  • DUDE, how does your little attack bar fill so quickly??? And how'd you get it to be so big?? DAMN I'm only on boss #7; the one right before Odin. I haven't gotten as far as you. :[ HELP ME. I beg of you nice person D;

  • @RighteousxEmo just continue with da story, your attack bar will get bigger

  • @K3V408 You start with two in the beginning of the game. Then you get three when you become a l'Cie. You get three more when you tame your Eidolen, get the ATB Gauge in the Crystal, and lastly when you hold a Tier 3 weapon.

  • @RighteousxEmo

there is no trick to anything in this game. It's so linear that by the time you reach chapter XIII you should be as strong as this guy, even without grinding. Infact, although this is a good fight to grind in (provided you can handle king behemoths) the enemies in later stages provide better items and Exp, You don't even have to respawn in that area, just keep fighting every monster in your way. You also can't level up past your restricted crystarium level until u beat the game.

  • @RighteousxEmo When you preemptive attack, after the initial stagger blow to each, your attack bars are always full. I, usually, just go down to the two fighting then back up to the cactuar. The cactuar drops 5000 CP and has a chance of dropping a Cactuar Doll (12,000 gil). Be careful when fighting the Cactaur though. If left to sit it can transform into harder Cactaur types. Although this grants better CP it also takes a lot longer to kill. Not to mention it's a harder fight by FAR.

  • @RighteousxEmo the more you level up your CP level eventually you will get a different stone on the grid that will say ATB Gauge that makes it get bigger

  • yohh...dude...you have to complete the missions 5-7-12 and 14, if u want a chocobo..!!!thats all..

  • this is definitely not the fastest way. when your level get high enough you should start farming Toise and Tortoise. with growth egg it's 80,000 cp a piece, and possible drop of platinum igot which you can sell for 150,000 or trap that you need to upgrade to ultimate weapon that you have to buy for 2,000,000

  • @Chen33351 hi what is groeth egg and how do u get it\?

  • @chrissybhoyadair

growth egg is an item you get after you beat mission 55, Cie'th stone is located on the roof of one of the building in Oerba. Growth egg double your cp earned when you have one of your character equip it.

  • The spot I'm using to level up is in the Faultwarrens. I just run a path doing missions 35, 36, 38, and 42 (I think those are the right numbers) and also fight the optional enemies like the borgbears and flowering cactuars. It takes about 20 minutes and you get a little over 300,000 CP per run with the Growth Egg. I figured it should take about 8 trips through to level up a role from level 1 to level 5.

  • u can get 8,000 cp a fight on this part in chapter 11..when u come down the steps..and fight these robots. hahah! i think the floor is taejins tower- sixth tier its in there at the top of the map and by a save point.

  • @Rainmageddon no its the fifth tier...my bad

  • ok, at the beginning it´s a good way to level up, but later on it´s too little and you have to upgrade by adaman taimai which gives you 40000 (80000 with growth egg) and even 80000kp´s are to little....this really sucks. I need approximately 60000kp to go from one position in the cristarium to next position.

  • hahaah so funny. you took it out before it transformed. im not their yet.

  • how do you get a chocobo????? lol jk

  • VERY useful with the Growth Egg! >:D

  • This game is awesome!

  • u know that the graphics are alot better on ps3 than they are on x-box 360 and i thought the 360 was ment to have better graphics

  • @mako246 for some games the xbox does have better graphics, but the ps3 has the capability of godly graphics

  • @EzPz yh i suppose so =D

  • hey, uh, should I still be grinding if my characters are in the 500-700 stat range by now? lol

  • @pablologist you can probably continue with the story. For the last boss I preferred to have my main party have role lvl 4 in all of their main crystarium trees. If you want to go for post game content though, you will need to grind big time for many many many hours.

  • Oh! And do not try to stagger any of the two because if you dont finish them b4 the stagger wears off, you will be hitting way lower than if he was close to stagger. and its normal if the Behemoth stands up, just keep on going like normal though. After Fang is finished attacking the megi, she will help you take down the standing behemoth, and it will be downhill from there! I hope i helped you all :D (sorry, thought the first post i made was gonna be the only but it wasnt D:)

  • @Shingekyou wait...you don't want to stagger? Why the hell not? and why waste your time with a syn in this fight. Those are for longer more hard hitting fights, just blow it up will all out assault if you have 2 coms.

  • And if you need me to tell you, having fang attack the Megi and lightning attacking the behemoth, thats how i get it done, and it gets done in about 1 min, and i just started my training. there is no need for healing because after fang finishes the megi, she will most likely along with lightning, have vigilance buff activated, so every time you hit him it will be as strong as what it would be in stagger, so just keep up Strike Team and you will not get hit if your diligent in attacking.

  • @Everyone trying this: The perfect way to train like this would be using 1 or maybe at max 2 Paradigm sets; Strike Team(Com/Com/Syn) or Cerberus (Com/Com/Com) with Sprint Shoes(correct spelling?) with only Lightning, Sazh and Fang. Use Lightning and Fang as the Com's and Sazh as the Syn and your sure to win. You dont need to change to cerberus, its only a preference of speed after your get fully buffed, but its fast enough without going cerberus. Hope i helped :D

  • this is slow, u can level up faster with the tonberry, 7600 Cp and 7 bomb cores for leveling up weapons, fight time 30-50 secs, but even the tonberry is no good after u get further with the missions. im stuck on mission 55 - an annoying ouchu

  • @specs3d1 Did you beat Neochu? Annoying little henchmen -_- I just spammed Death and I got him lol and I took out those little things too >:D

  • omg how do you get on 1 of those chicken?

  • I say you should get the Growth Egg First (Mission 55), but its one of the hardest missions unless you use death with Vanille.

Growth Egg doubles the CP amount

  • i need help i just got to grand pulse and im kinda weak can someone tell me best battle team, equips for them and, pardigm and upgrades!!

  • yo i almost beat the game, im on chapter 13 and I have to fight the final boss, but i still dont have a CHOCOBO! how the hell do you get one??????

  • @Skatedatbake101 u dont really need a chocobo to do this, just go to where da chocobo and run back and they should spawn, but if u want da chocobo do missions 1-8 12-14

  • @Skatedatbake101 How about doing qeust 10 till 20..

if you are done with mission 14 you get 1 quest after that.. you have 2 save some chocobo's then you may ride them

  • You get the Chocobo after completing a series of missions. I believe its like 10-15 or something :)

  • yoohhh dude...u have to complete the missions 5-7-12 and 14,if u want a chocobo....that's all...

  • im still to weak 4 this :(

  • you should be able to do this at the very start of chapter 11. I started this right away and it takes about a minute and a half to do the fight. Just time your attacks on the behemoth to juggle him. Then use delta attack / mystic tower on the other one. That worked best for me for low level.

  • srry but wtf = mystic tower?

  • @2theoldschool mystic tower is the Rav/Rav/Sen paradigm. If you do one round of Delta Attack (Com\Rav\Sen) the Com will slow down the stagger meter enough for you to be able to switch to mystic tower to drive it up quickly. Once he is staggered Relentless Assault until death.

  • Thankyou :D

  • the easiest spot to get CP, in my opinion, is at the top of taejin's tower. there are 5 golden robots running around, and they give 8000 CP. its a fairly easy battle too.

  • U don't have to go back to the chocobo. After the fight u can just continue walking the path till u loose x mark on the mini map and then come back. Mobs should respawn then.

  • Sweet! thanks for the advice :)

  • i seen a video, where you can have up to 6 attacks...in the same area too, so either u can go back later in the game or theres new game plus

  • You go back later, there is no ng+

  • To get the sixth bar you must get your weapon (any weapon) to level 100 and that gives you the sixth bar.

  • I done it without the chocobo but it is a pain in the ass, I take out the Behemoth King first using stagger, then i face that other guy, takes long but it's worth it :)

  • @crazydaveactor2010 when you're powerful enough you can use two commendo to stagger both of them

  • Hey, Whats up guys? What Cie'th Stone do you get the Chocobo from? Much Appreciated.

  • @xxzenocatxx missions 1-8, 12-14

  • @xxzenocatxx mission 12 will unlock the way to the chocobo place mission 14 will unlock the ability to ride them

  • Does the Chocobo have the ability to have Preemptive strikes or something?

  • @rockstar95f no you cant touch any monsters

  • thx u helped me alot

  • imnot saying any of these videos are bad just that how come every video has the same exact grinding spots

  • You dont need to hop on the chocobo. seems like a waste of time. Just run up to where the chocobo is, either you have it there or not. And then turn around and go back down again.

  • @Ul7r4magnus yah but it didnt work for me when i was recording

  • work for me but cant find the chocobo any1 can help me there

  • @quito2lava you need to do missions 1-8 and 12-14 to unlock da chocobo

  • must do mission 14 in order to unlock the chocobo

  • you get 13,200 with the growth egg, which is pretty damn good. its was a hard fight beating the neochu to get it, but its worth it now.

  • well yeah your a frikin god u are, its easy for you but not for other people

  • if i am in eden can i go back here¿

  • yeah you can in da beginning of chapter 13

  • @K3V408 can u go back to gran pulse after finshing d game?

  • i didnt finish da game yet so idk been playin gow3

  • @K3V408 or any place at all..like doing d 2nd play thru without going back to lvl 1 or losing anything

  • i tried to speed run this game

    worst mistake i made

these monsters rape me so badly

    this should help

  • yah i was rushing too...trying to finish da game before god of war 3 comes out, but neva did. ill finish it when im done with gow3
