Thanks to the men and women working in the oil industry everything we have is possible! I have put sites back to bed and guess what? You would never know they were and industrial site, so please tell me more about destroying usefulness of the land. Alberta scarred and broke? umm, if you know anything about the oilfield. when a blowout like this occurs, the oil company can not allow gas to pour into the atmosphere. so they light the gas, so it burns off clean. essentially burn the rig and all the equipment on the lease.
