  • @racestick Guess you realized your error ;)

  • @snuffmigruff haha yeah sorry. only just read the small print ;)

  • teach me

  • i love false cuts..

  • nice stuff mann. good to see works of erdnase and some more modern moves come to life.. =)

  • oh and you might also try other variations of palm change...

  • nice vid, however you should work on double lift... your hands look to odd... instead of performing it with your thumb, try pinky count, or spread double lift...

  • good skillz but sorry i think 0:45 is fake it looks like its paused and then started again

  • @TrEbBs264

Not fake at all, I've spent considerable time mastering these techniques. I wouldn't spend time editing to try to impress you tube trolls by faking anything.

  • @TrEbBs264 that's called the shapeshifter technique it's pretty basic but has an awesome effect, very easy to do just hard to make it unnoticeable like he does it

  • Thats a really cool song

  • very nice video, nice choice of song, however, i would only sugest to watch your tempo, you seem to be going very fast for such a smooth song. Other then that, nice job :)

  • ur peformance was superb, all the sleights have been perfectly peformed by you.the fan was sexy and all th moves the pass the false cuts and so on.the 4 ace routines u peformed were also very good.and the things i liked the most are the decks u used.the white ghost deck and the tally ho viper both are my favourites.lookin foward to ur dvd it will be fun learning frm u

  • this was NICE. good music too.

  • the song is Compine d'un autre ete: l'apres midi

with a forward slash accents over the e's in ete and backslash accent over the e in l'apres

  • God, it's so hard to tell where the key tricks are performed in the second trick. There's just so many of them.

  • whats the cut called for the aces trick (5:00)

  • You were good on some sleights but you're sloppy on some. But this was 2 years ago, I'm pretty sure you improved on that already. Good video!

  • wow 2:21 how does he do it?

  • its called the pass ;)

  • He cuts the deck in half but he puts his thumb in the way to keep the two halves separate, then he switches them when he makes it look fancy. You get a good view of him separating them at about 2:26

  • the one where you make all of the cards go in the ssame order i wanto no that one ive seen it performed live my dads frreind is a ream magician and he wont tell me u?

  • Hey there!

Work on ur double lift. :-). Great stuff though, ur better than me! Jay Sankey's double lift is what u need - there's no set up or breaks needed.

  • yeah the dl is pretty sloppy, if i was a normal spec i would think something up.

  • first one iss gooodd...i know how its done i wont reveal, ur much better thn me at it tho ;)

    good work

  • That was excellent, i really liked ur pass and the way u did that false deal, i wish i was that good :P

  • nice tricks and nice music....but some tricks were slow....but they're nice

  • ohh ... i can do all the tricks also .. but ..you are good ... the way that you make them .. is pretty natural ;) ... i like the video really .. and .. the last trick .. the mercury ... very good performance

    ;D

  • i am only 13 and i can do all of thos tricks im not saying you suck but those are simpl

  • It is not a question of if you can do it, it is a question of how well you do it.

  • very good though i only know a few u did. i sleightly got some of them though but you should work on your double lift a bit more. apart from that good job

  • i know how to do the card change at 3.10

  • good for you lol. Doesn't all of youtube? Thanks for watching though!

  • At 3:10 I was sketching out. That was pretty slick.

  • I had wrote a full critique of 482 letters... but it was lost. Stupid browser. OK. short version. Reduce pass motion, learn strike double and practice it, its more "natural". I like music and presentation; very deliberate hand movements. Good Begginer sleight video. 8.2/10

  • you need to work on that double lift dude. doesnt look natural

  • Not bad.

    nice deck, too.

  • i love this video

  • very smooth pass, any tips for the begginers for this move?

  • i cant believe i wasted 7 minutes of my life on this awesome vid should have been longer jk

ur snap on 3:10 was very smooth, as are ur skills

  • hehe nice i know some of ur sleights alrdy :) but nice performance

  • wow, you amazing good song man it totally got me in the zone.

  • good song and good sleight of hand well done!

  • i like the last pack of card, it's really neat, Also you have good control's over the tricks, i myself am a magician but i've got trouble over certain flourishes, keep up the good work.

  • you should more a little more on your

ascanio spread during the mercury aces.

    overall, it's 5/5

  • nice video and good music

  • Wow, i like card magic, and you just made my idol. Those tricks were amazing and there was no way for me to tell how they were done because they were so fluent! great job (and go red sox)

  • Now, I've been itching to learn some of this stuff myself. So I wonder, where did you (the person who posted this vid) learn?

  • Hi, I learned from various sources. I would say the best one, and first actually were the volumes of card college 1-6. that's a great start. I'm actually getting ready to produce about 10 dvd's. The content ranges from children's magic, Card Flourishing, Card Manipulation, Mentalism, etc. There are 3 dvd's on card cheating alone. The stuff is going to be dirt cheap compared to the 40 and 50 dollars you'll spend on one dvd elsewhere. I'll post the website soon.

  • please post sooner

  • I wanna know how you do that nice shuffle with the deck chunks.

  • hey does anyone know any free sites or free videos of how i can learn some tricks? thx

  • to do sleigh of hand tricks, do you need a altered deck?

  • no, that's why it is called sleight of hand, you can do any kind of tricks regardless of card, coin, apple, any object, etc, with your hands. Secret manipulation. you don't need an altered deck, however when using an altered deck there is usually a specific handling(s) that are used with said deck

  • its not an altered deck... theyre completely normal except for the design.. the first one was a ghost deck and the second was a tally-ho deck with a circle back

  • 1:14 practice your double lifting I can notice your double lift.

  • Your t*@t needs a little work....

  • u know i cant seem to find those cards...... ive tried england, australia, cant.

im from malaysia. cant get it here. is it only in usa??? or other countries??? anyway how much is it?

  • ebay

also there is a company that sell them called ellusionist or ellusion (yes its spelt that way) i got a deck of all black bycycle cards from them, ther wikid

  • how much are they do u know

??? anyway ebay charges lots to mail them here. this deck is called ghost deck ryte...

  • yea that looks like the ghost deck

there is one in singapore that i wanted to buy from but i dont have paypal, singapore shouldnt cost much to ship to malaysia man

just type in the search ghost deck

it usualy comes up straight away

  • was amazed until he tried the ace trick that was a poor illusion as was the final trick when he turned the jacks into aces... but the rest were quite good

  • you have doing your home work, exellent

  • Nice 2nd deal. Where did you get the music from?

  • Which program do you use for editing your video?

  • that was the gratest sleight of hand i have ever seen

  • can you tell me what brand thoses cards are OMG i love them they look so beautiful!!!!!!

  • It's bicycle from USPCC

  • yea ther dope right, i've got the black ones

  • can you put up a vid showing how you do that flick thing sumting like snap change in 00:47 and in the later part. the last trick you did was called mercury ryte.

  • awesome

  • nice

  • wow dude!

I know all these tricks and still, you amazed me. such a beautiful performance. you got yourself a nice lovely pair of hands..

  • nice work man I know almost everything(nice performance)but i dont know how to do the trick which started in 3:19 (it is false countdown I dont know name of it)could you do a tutorial pls thanks check my videos

  • that trick is a 'second deal' you're just removing the second card every time but making it look legit. Super swamped right now so can't make a tutorial but if you can't find anything on it "the second deal" then let me know and i'll send you some references to it

  • not very good

  • well i had only been practicing for 3 months when i shot this vid. However, I think the video is great. So do many other people. I put it up as entertainment. Magic isn't about "look what i can do" It's about sharing something "magical" with others. Plus i don't see any videos of you doing anything magical

  • That's an incredible repetoire for 3 months. You've got natural talent and the only thing I can really critique here are your lifts, which are a little on the slow-n-obvious side, but I'm sure by now you've already nailed those out. Amazing vid.

  • It's cool man it's cool.

I am also a magician, but there are some i dont know

  • fucken hell man:D i could swear i was hypnotised with the music along with trying to figure out those damn tricks!...nice display 5*****

  • oooo shit u marked up a ghost deck!

wat was that aces control called?

  • That was good. I am also a magician. But one thing crushed me. Man..you painted on a ghost deck! Damn!!

  • gj bud. one thing i like to do that looks better (IMO) is the same lift every time. if you do your double lifts one way lift the other cards the same way...for credibility ya know?

  • looks really good, the only thing is practice your double-lifts. Your much better than me though, the only thing i can do really well is the double lift, my hands move to slow to do most things. how did you learn?

  • After watching, I suggest smoothening out your handling of the cards into more fluent, natural actions. You have the other stuff down, so just practice that

  • OMFG!

... I never finished Amelie. Off to Hollywood Video.

    Awesome tricks. =)

  • No tricks as good as that will be taught here within you tube,

Thanks for the vid, glad to see you dont give anything away ;)

I think i know how to do one of thos tricks but thats it lol. Nice.. ;)

  • wow you are a you tube fan obviously, way to learn all the tutorials...... :<

  • Didn't learn a thing from you tube. However the 6 volumes of card college and a few videos from ellusionist did help out a lot. It doesn't hurt that I am also personal friends with lance burton

  • and he's a boston fan, even better

  • nice job man, good work. I agree the music gives it a certain touch. I also like the ghost deck, i have set myself.

  • looks like someone learned the entire ninja series LOL x )

  • looks that way

  • well in man, nice tricks, and the piano music in the background added a nice touch

  • Great tricks. I don't care what other people say, but it's smooth manipulation of the cards, and would put on a great street show for example. Sure there are places where you could have improved, but I give it 5 stars.

  • ive gotta say, Amazing handeling man!

  • most of these tricks are pretty easy to do but DAMN your hands are a gift from god!!

so smooth! and such a lovely ghost deck...=0

    keep going like that bro!

  • good... but your double lift sucks

  • Yeah i had been practicing for 3 months when i shot this vid. I've since learned better methods

  • keep practicing. some of the stuff still needs practice, and if used for in the setting its supposed to used it would look good, but a few of the sleights that i saw patter would greatly improve them. The music is nice, but not for all the stuff that was done.

  • Ok let me get this straight. I need to practice however if i did the sleights somewhere else they would be good? And the music was nice but not for all the stuff that was done. So...just for some of the stuff? I clicked on your profile half expecting to see 100 excellent magic videos from none other than dai vernon himself but all i saw was a 'Kimbo Death Tackle' video. Show us your chops man!

  • what i meant was some of the tricks are made to be done without talking, but some require you to be talking. It adds the extra element in there that makes it all invisible. Like the passes, and the color changes for instance. jean pierre valerino did a fantastic no talking routine on worlds greatest magic years ago. good music for it, but all the stuff he did was flawless. and for some reason it looks like you are not completely comfortable holding the cards.

  • 1.Video shot after only 3 months of practice

2.roughly half the comments here are requests for the music

3.Bob Ross was a professional painter, my kid brother can't paint like him but he still tries regardless so what's your point? Do you have anything positive to share.

4.Once again I invite you to post your masterpieces.

  • one of the things with being a magician is to not show your stuff before you are ready. you just admitted that you were not ready for the stuff. you have good stuff. but most of it is not meant to have dont just in front of the camera like that. and believe me if i had a camera to put stuff online i would. but it is good stuff nonetheless. defiantely all stuff that i use as well.

  • it's ready for laymen. I've shown everyone I know and nobody has figured out a single trick. It may not be ready to your standards but it is ready for any non magician

  • i love ghost cards.

  • thisi s probably a stupid question, but where do you buy those pack of cards ?? i'm a new magician so i know it dosent change much, but i see al those good magicians using those cards and i was wandering if you bought them off somewhere special or just a a random place ?? i know it dosent change anything, it's just to know for the future since in intend on becoming better

  • Have a look on ebay they are bicycle brand cards im not sure what stores sell them other than ebay

  • very nice. can you please tell me what that song is called

  • it's in the video description

  • thanks alot

  • TY master!

  • You are very good! i was wondering what are the name of the last deck of cards

    they are really cool.

  • tallyho

  • tutorial pleeeeease!

  • man you are soooo good. the music helps mesmerize the viewer.

  • i can see how you did about half of those tricks well done

  • Five stars, mate, I'm impressed. I like the way you describe this video as "Some BASIC sleight of hand cards tricks"... You're good, Snuff, your riffle and cut sure beats my false cut any day. Feel free to comment on my videos, I'd value your opinion. All the best...

  • I like the color changes, and the flourishes. However, I don't quite think the pass is ready. I would use a dribble pass or something that has more cover, at this point. Well done!

  • hey how do you do that first trick

  • magic, that manifestation is commonly referred to as "shape shifter"

  • you are one of the only people who treat magic like an art.

    5 Stars and Favorited

  • cool

  • great stuff man

  • and the one right after with the aces?

  • If you're referring to 5:53, I'm just taking an ordered deck and doing a pull through riffle shuffle with a jacob's ladder cut all the way up, Looks like i'm shuffling super well but the cards are just reordering themselves

  • whats the trick at 3:20 called?

  • it's just a second deal, not necessarily a trick but just some sleight of hand.

  • all i said was your esconio spread cud be better. other than that your handling is excellent. so dont go around slagging off my videos, esp as most r wen i was a beginner.

  • very nice handling. but u cud do wiv working on the esconio spread wen u do mercury aces, otherwise top notch. check my vids

  • cud do wiv?

  • oh yeah and was that mercury aces at the end?

  • When i did this video i had only practiced about 4 months. and yes it was mercury aces

  • amazing, how long have you been studying sleight of hand.

  • Lumarin, i wrote ya a message check it out i think itl help=)

  • Wow, that's quite amazing...could anyone direct me to where I could get my hands on that music, it's beautiful.

Also, could someone tell me where I might be able to learn this myself, a book or a web-site maybe?

  • the larry jennings snap double will eliminate the use of the other hand as well.

  • hey anyone who likes MAGIC n ILLUSION check out my page and watch my vids leave a comment if ya want. O U can subscribe too! i'm adding a video compilation of me levitating soon!!!!!

  • I want to say well done! But(there's always a "but...)There's one movement that's not correctly done! For the doublelift, no need to use the other hand to load the cards.Just do a pinky finger count(if you don't know it, yet it's gonna take you 2min to learn it)and it makes it invisible!!!!!!Realy, try it, you'll convinced!!!

  • Dude that was awesome... I just got into Sleights Last week and I got the first Card College book... How did you start learning?

  • that has been one of the best cuts i've ever seen

  • This was wonderful to watch.

Hopefully I'll be this good one day.

  • That was really good. I enjoyed watching it.

  • Well done man. How long have you been practicing magic?

  • about 3 months

  • Did you learn from an instructional dvd? If so can you recommend one?

  • Cool. Great choice in music unlike those who put pop or techno songs. But a little bit sloppy on the trick where you deal the cards and show that the King of Clubs is still on top.

  • that's the point. It's a second deal. It's showing that i can still deal all the cards underneath the top. If i wanted to hide that fact, i'd keep the card turned over. Thanks for the input though and i'm glad you liked the music :)

  • No dude, I meant I can see that you are dealing the cards below the King of clubs when I suppose your trick is to perfoms sleights such that people think that you are dealing the cards top down. Anyway, everything still amazes me. Mind if I ask, does the type of deck influence the performance? I can;t get Bicycle decks at my place and I got this plastic coated cards. Not sure if Bicycle decks are like that though

  • hey whats the music? write back. nice vid too, class.

  • what is the music please?

  • crap mate shape shifter was to slow and the snap change was was easy to tell there was two cards

  • Well done. I really enjoyed your music selection. Next time try making you tricks flow a little better. It was creative work with your King Club card. I also like that you saved the best cards for last. Keep it up.

  • nice

    whered you learn them all

i know alot of these but id like to know where you learned them

  • Maybe its cause i don't know much sleight of hand or some thing but i thought that was really cool. Best i've seen i reckon. Keep up the top stuff.

    5/5

  • Sorry about that last comment that was my friend. He thinks he is the next Ed Marlow or whatever. I personally like your passes though they are up to par nicely.

  • damn youneed some new changes and sleights, work on your showmanship also lol

  • great!

  • practice doing your shapeshifter faster

  • Very nice. Very very nice hand motion....Personally I don't like the passes with the "upswing"; the fast ones at 2:50 are better. In case you had any doubts, dude, you are way way better than I am. Excellent!!! Music from Amelie is also a winner. A++
