I cut up my mastercard today. I will be cutting up my Visa in a week. They're not paid off (yet), but I won't be able to use them if they're cut up. :D
This is true - the saddest thing that I hear is when someone says "I couldn't live without my credit cards."
Literally they think that they cannot survive without one. They don't realize how much they're throwing away during their lifetime. They think credit cards are a lifeline that they're being given by these big corporations and not a rope that they're hanging themselves with.
