no, since the drum set is symetrical (sry if i spelt that wrong) u just set it to lefty mode then the game does the rest

ok rock band sucks!!!!! im sorry but guitar hero gave gay rock band the idea. so honostly is sucks plus. guitar hero has better solos and rock band has weird, hard to read, squares. rock band is just stupid. trust me as a expert guitar hero person. rock band is almost easier on guitar/. plus the guitar hero drums are more realisitic sounding. just better, hands down

Dude, if they had made the hi-hat to the left of the snare, like most people have their drumkits, it wouldn't be lefty compatible.

Currently from the looks of it, GHWT has the upper hand on rockband. Sure, you can purchase add-on cymbals but they'll just be extra triggers in-game, not more pads.

I love rock band, but from the looks of it right now, guitar hero seems better. You can't argue otherwise.

I'd love to see the RB2 set featuring inserts for the add-on cymbals everywhere.

To get the hi-hat where it "should" be (Actually theres no "should" in drumming, everyone has their own prefferences) they'd have to move it so much to the left that it would be too loose. It's hard to explain, but to make it like a real hi-hat they would need atleast an extra leg to keep it steady, otherwise it would be to close to th snare

up and down yes but not left to right, rb 2's default drum set has add on cymbals that can be place to your preference.

Theres 2 downsides to those;

You have to purchase them, something only expert-level players will do. (With a few exceptions, naturally)

And of course, cymbals aren't included in the chart. As I said, they are just different triggers for that specific note. Like everytime the blue is ride instead of tom, you could just aswell hit the normal pad. Or vica versa.

Not bashing RB2, but people like me who already have nr 1, will most likely only purchase the game. Then go with GHWT kit instead.

No man, it's the same price. The silicon doesn't make the game bundle any more expensive. If anything, it makes the drum kit better, and it shows how much Neversoft cares about having high quality instruments. Harmonix can suck on that.
