Well, Keep in mind, on a mac, you can bootcamp windows.. can u install OS X on a PC without breaking the End User License Agreement, NOPE you can not! Macs cost more because they last longer, you also cant get a virus on a mac, i still have an ibook g4 from like 6 years ago and it runs like it just came out of the box! I am a pc lad, always have been and always will be. I don't like macs, but thats me. I have a whs, a S-2008(file server) 2 htpc, 2 gaming machine, laptop, and a bunch of space pc's. all win7 64, all work perfect and never give me bother. but I do have a fair amount of ability in IT. Everything that can be done on a mac can be done on a pc, better and faster, but a mac can't do 10% of what a pc can do. so why would people say macs are better? i dont get it???

An Apple Mac will never offer the same freedom that a Generic PC gives me, I can easily find technical details with a minimum of fuss and interuption. In addition to this I can add/remove components as I please, or change them for better parts. I dissagree that Macs claim to be better than PC's.

Good for you! Well, the new mice have an right click button which is enabled in System Preferences. If you have an older one, then you could always use a USB PC mouse or something.

PC gaming is entirely different from console gaming. One cannot seamlessly switch from one to the other. For one, PCs can outperform any console, and additionally, there are tons of games that are for PC and only PC. Plus, FPS and pretty much all online gaming is way better on PC than consoles.
They make good audio players though, you can't deny it. I'm a heavy windows user and the iPod is the best MP3 player i've used to date with the highest quality sound after you switch the earphones.

I am a pc lad, always have been and always will be. I don't like macs, but thats me. I have a whs, a S-2008(file server) 2 htpc, 2 gaming machine, laptop, and a bunch of space pc's. all win7 64, all work perfect and never give me bother. but I do have a fair amount of ability in IT. Everything that can be done on a mac can be done on a pc, better and faster, but a mac can't do 10% of what a pc can do. so why would people say macs are better? i dont get it???

Ive been using PC's for 10 years and building them for about 5 years, last year I was given a new Mac as part of Uni Degree I'm on and it was after this that I realised how shite PC's are, I wont be going back to PC's ever again
I have one complaint about Macs though...The mice are pointless, I assumed MAC had no right Click functionality cause the mice dont but OSX infact does so why build mice without it?

There is no software you can't get on PC and the displays for publishing available for industry standards are legion and a lot cheaper than apples (who usually rebrand EIZOs and sell them +25%). You dont need a MAC, except you're somehow hypnotized by hypes and have money to waste.

I like the responses like 'oooh professionals use mac for editing'. Well I work in the broadcast industry and we use Final Cut Pro here and what a piece of user-unfriendly shit it is. Trouble is theat the non-techinal user dickheads like the pretty interface - shame the software and OS is shit shit shit. PC gaming is entirely different from console gaming. One cannot seamlessly switch from one to the other. For one, PCs can outperform any console, and additionally, there are tons of games that are for PC and only PC. Plus, FPS and pretty much all online gaming is way better on PC than consoles.

Me and a friend did a benchmark on Adobe Photoshop.
My pc was a Q6600 @3.55 ghz, 2gb ram, vista 32bit. TOTAL £500
My friend had a mac pro, 8 (EIGHT) cores, and 8 GB ram. TOTAL OVER £5000
My system BEAT his mac in EVERY benchmark, by at least 6-8%, for 1 test the difference was 20%.
So this is why macs are complete shit.
And i will never ever even consider such crap bullshit.

The Menu Bar is too far away from your sight. I never play any games on my Windows pc. My graphic card is Intel GMA 950. I HATE Crappy Computer GAMES AND FAGINTOSH. About 1% of mac games: Call of Duty 1 2 3, Civiilzation 2 3 4, Halo, The sims 1 2, SimCity 4, Age of Empires 2 3, Wow, Neverwinter Nights 1 2, Doom 2 3, Return to Castle Wolfenstien, Black and White, Lego Star wars.
If you didn't know Aspyr was founded as a Mac Developer and has since provide many games to the Mac. Games like Doom and Wolfenstien that use opengl run faster on a Mac unless you get Vista(opengl native now).
