  • I Herd if you Keep the Male in, he Will Kill Them! D: Is That True? Or True Sometimes?

  • What was the guinea pig eating???

  • awww cute!!!

  • awwwwwww how cute i have 2 girls at home 1 is a ruf and the other 1 is a standard with red eyes good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I luv how the white one in the front just sits there like " ya whateve's" they're so cute :)

  • How do you know if they're pregnant? Our female guinea pig Widget is getting fatter and fatter and we don't know why. And my male guinea pig Oreo hasn't touched her, I don't think he has anyway.

  • @guineapighelpful

    Seriously?...

The mom will clean her guinea pigs... You won't be able to tell they ever had any blood on them.

  • @twinklex89

NO LESS THEN 4 WEEKS, A MONTH! All places that "sell" them are stupid!

  • i never knew you could have red guinea pigs lol, just kidding, im just getting into the breeding of guinea pigs so any advice wud help

  • @guineapighelpful That's what I wanna know....I want ALL the facts before Rufus gets a girlfriend!

  • I think You Need have a another cage to seprate the guinea pigs and to tell if their pregnant you should tell if their belly is round

  • How Can you tell the guinea pig babies are boy or a girl??

  • sick

  • she is bleedin quiet a bit nd r those round little rock things the placebta shes suppose 2 eat cuz mine just did she just became a mother to 3 a hour ago

  • do we have to separate the male and female pig? how we know it pregnant? and what should we prepare or do during the process?

  • @ilrenetee

If you don't know how to determine whether or not she is pregnant, then don't breed! AND YES! ALWAYS REMOVE THE MALE FROM THE FEMALE ONCE SHE HAS CONCEIVED! I have no clue why the male is still in there!!!

  • @JDMForChrist You don't have to remove the male after she's concieved, he's completely fine with the female when the female is pregnant. You should only remove him if the female is uncomfortable giving birth around him. Why the hell would he breed if he can't determine if she's pregnant or not? I can't stand half the comments on this series of videos about ignorant and stupid questions about guinea pigs..

  • @jua3z

You remove the boar... Period end of discussion.

  • Mama must have been really uncomfortable! with that many babies that in a mass take up almost as much space as her! wow

  • I love your little family of piggys

  • is that umm.. blood. O.O D: i know.. giving birth and all.. but. you know. D:

  • Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww so cute, my guineapig gave birth to two pups! Later on I had to give them away though.

  • wow those babies are rather bloody .... when my were born there was hardly any blood

  • when mine gave birth i threw away the placenta because it stunk was that bad because she didn't seem to want to eat it to get rid of it.

  • This is so great! Thank you for uploading this; I've never actually gotten to see the mother clean up her babies. I had a sow who gave birth, but she did it in the middle of the night, and everything was cleaned up by morning.

  • why is there soo much blood?? but you are the expert ;)

  • @twinklex89

Two weeks + a few days for mine. Watch our for male babies though as they could impregnate the mother very soon, I think it's three weeks.

  • is it okay to touch the babies right after birth? Like hold them?

  • We held them a couple hours later thinking the sow would reject them if we did it too early. Guinea Pig babies can eat solid food as early as the 2nd day!

  • @kermitrunner

    I repeat the above...

  • @harmany281

YES! Guinea pigs are not like rabbits or hamsters whereas they'll reject their babes if smelling human scent on them! Guinea pig moms care for their young no matter what! You can hold them any time and whenever,

  • congrats on your new little piggies!

  • congrats!

  • so cute

  • cute

  • Congrats! Soon be great grand!?
