nice road! kinda compares to Californias big bear, newcombs, the spot, ortega hwy,Palomar, kings canyon, big sur, etc; but as just as deadly I'm sure. now that I've seen this I'd love to check it out on a weekday and a GSXR
Way to go, Martha! I tried to follow a HD bagger up Route 2 into the Birkshires once--couldn't do it. It looks like you have a good time. My wife wants to go, but she wants to ride on the back of my Burgman.
Martha, you should be an inspiration to men and women. I just took my rider's course this past July. My finacee and I rode the Dragon last week in October and I was so scared but did it and never crossed the lines. My bike is a lot smaller (just over 500 pounds) but have fulfilled my life long dream of owning and riding my own bike. Ride safe, sister!
My boyfriend rides an Ultra Classic (which I can barely touch the ground on) and I ride a lowered Heritage Softail Classic. I took a riders course 6 weeks ago since I knew NOTHING about how to ride and now have put over 3200 miles on my bike. I just rode the Dragon last week. I was sooo nervous with so many people going faster than me. (Way over the limit) I hope to ride like you one day! You're my hero!!
Great lines and pace Martha! Never crossed the center line from what I could see. Camera bike had some trouble and could learn a lot from ya. You GO MARTHA!
I could learn a lot from Martha too. It is unbelievable how FAST and CLEAN her run was on a heavy bike! I ride a heavy bike too, and consistently run fast, and in my lane, but her line was flawless! I would love to follow her sometime to study her line, but she would probably have to run slower so I could keep up.
Great Job Martha! It looks like you rode fast (so much so that the camera bike had trouble keeping up) and clean (staying in your lane)! THAT is how you handle a bike.

Nice ride. My wife and I recently ran the Dragon on our Goldwing. It was a blast, but I ran way slower than this.

You rocked it Martha! My husband bought a new Harley & gave me his 03 Dyna Lowrider. I want to go on this ride someday!
