This is by far the best vocal interpretation I have heard of this song. That is the Zenith of praise in the face of singers like Ronnie Drew..The High Kings... Cara Dillon and many others who have also done beautiful interpretations of this very old song.
i love this song though the only version i have is sung by the late clancy bros. i dedicate this song to my dad and all who lost there fight with cancer, lost my dad dec 20 2007 he is missed every day, i think of him every time i hear this song.( hoisting a beer glass.) to my dad and all that cancer takes. hear hear!!
