International Coastal Cleanup: A 25-Year Sea Change

This was the 39th year for Operation Shore Patrol in the State of Washington. I have been encouraged by the reduction in the amount of litter, garbage and junk we find each year. While we always find enough to keep us busy on the third Saturday in September no longer do we have to continue into Sunday to finish as in years past. Awareness is up - we just have to keep at it.

Please find another sponsor, my friends and I are forever cleaning up Coke brand bottles from Australian beaches, Coke refuse to address the problem by returning to refillable bottles and withdrawing single use PET.

Let us know how many Coke product bottles and caps are collected this year! Perhaps you could separate them from the trash and publicly hand them back to Coke in each region for downcycling.
