I can see it now, Borderlands 2: mystery of the claptraps. The claptraps knew about the vault and its contents all along. And now the claptraps have been reprogrammed to concure the universe, and the only one that knows their weakness is the interplanetary ninja assasin claptrap as a sidekick. Hyperion was some how related to the aliens before, if you look closely it has the alien symbol on the satellite. I don't know what zapped clap trap, but that has no point in the plot, its a joke. Interplanetary ninja assassin is about as bad ass as you can get, and when applied to a dancing robot its hilarious.

when i finished the game after i killed "The Detroyer" me and my friend laughed when we saw "Intergalactic Ninja Assassin" we went to find him after i lvled up to hold an eridan weapon, we went to Fyrestone, and he was normal clap trap, maybe i have to give the crap to the lady who wants the vault key

0:29 so the satellite belongs to Hyperion, doubt Hyperion would give a dahm or be so nice to a random merc. seeing how atlas funded it's own military. maybe someone hacked the satellite to help the merc out? this is just a wild guess but maybe the "Guardian angel" is not just a computer. seeing how Mr. tentacles was apparently invincible on the other side of the gate the "guardian" wanted someone from the other side to take it down, just a wild guess :P
