Your locs look fab and soft. Lol, that was a funny story... I had a similar experience but not funny before i loc'd up. i went into a salon and asked if they have anyone that does fine braid/cornrow on natural hair? Well i'm sure i heard the clang of a flat iron hitting the floor. I literally backed out the shop, lol. Good for you i was going to the loct'n 8 months before i saw the 'White light' of self maintenance. But i do go back to check my locs are healthy and for occasional pampering.

standing in an africa shop trying to go natural--now that was challenging. sad but true... they actually tried to get me to do loc extensions! in other words, they would much rather have dealt with a nappy weave than with the real deal. very sad indeed...
