  • did anyone ever successfully complete the Bonus Round?

  • IDDO PATT FOR PRESIDENT

  • 4:01 - Oh, you idiot! You stupid idiot! Julia Roberts starred in "Dying Young" w/ Campbell Scott back in 1991. How could he not know that???

  • The 1950s scandal-free-and-sanitized version of Twenty-One.

  • He was probably in shock. Of his 4 wins, he won 3 because his opponent had struck out.

  • One of my favorite things about this remake: the live orchestra.

  • Fannie Mae?

  • I remember seeing the remake of Twenty One when it was on. Maybe it's because I was a little kid but I personally enjoyed the show.

  • lame remake of a classic (and infamously scandlous) game show.

  • lol, he should've freaked out the moment maury said "you are the tv game show king" BUT he waited until maury gave his total, (what i mean is that he should've known what maury meant by that, what else could he have meant?) LOL

  • Michael do you have happen to have David Legler's big moment I haven't seen it in FOREVER!

  • @mcwoods85 Yeah, I'm gonna need that for a video I'll be doing soon on the history of all-time winningest game show contestants from Thom McKee to the current record holder, Ken Jennings.

  • @johnnyafairbanksak You wouldn't by any chance happen to know where I can find a video of the short-lived FOX game show "It's Your Chance Of A Lifetime" would you? On one of those episode, Dr. Tim Hsieh(who was a contestant on Jeopardy and Millionaire) won over a million dollars(forget the exact amount) I haven't seen that episode since it originally premiered and i'd LOVE to see it again.

  • @darkrage6 No, but it didn't matter was the total was; David Legler was already the record holder by then with $1,765,000 on Twenty-One.

  • Too much money for too little work was the biggest problem most had with this. They changed the prize structure not long after this.

  • kinda the same thing with sale of the century, only in reverse,

  • actually forget i said that, the main problem with sale was that they made it cheaper every year. (the smart thiing to do would've been to at least make the effort to raise the stakes, and maybe make it a little harder.) (but with the winner's board that made it kinda hard.)

  • I have the full episode from a GSN rerun shortly after they axed it.

  • Was I the only person almost unimaginably disappointed by this show in every possible way? I can't think of a single thing they did right on this.

  • If I remember correctly, all of Rahim's previous opponents also had the same fate, giving him the win by default. It was becuase of this the show was forced to slightly revise its format to make it more diifcult to amass that much money that quickly.

  • I think the rule change was so the game can be won more quickly, because they had to take drastic measures in the '50s versions, and we all know how that turned out.

  • Great moment for Rahim. It may have been bad strategy for Iddo to go for an 11-point Julia Roberts question, but I still enjoyed the clip (and the cool intro you used!).

And, one other thing; why can't we get shows like this on GSN now? It'd be really cool (I'll limit myself to that, since I don't want to go on a rant).
