i am emo since 1st grade and have woken up every morning to my family calling me a fag for the way i like to dress. they shaved my head whenever they got to the chance and threaten me with military school if i dont change. every morining i gave em a smile and asked if my "boyfriend" was coming over, every time they tried to shave my head id shave their pets, and when they made fun of how i dressed i showed them pictures of themselves as kids and said "it could always get worse"

Never was a big fan of the genre of music known as Emo...but atleast BACK THEN you know late 80s-90s it was pretty decent.
