@BrittaniCluett I believe it is a pickup to help with the sound when using an acoustic/electric guitar plugged into an amp.

@BrittaniCluett Also, the pickup goes underneath the strings and lays over the actual soundhole. It doesn't go over the strings :)

The strumming pattern for the intro and verses and outro are UUDD, and the chorus is DDUUDD. The bridge you just strum once per chord except when she says "I'll catch you, I'll catch you," where you just repeat the A chord.

Okaaay guys guess what? Dont listen to me if you dont want to and feel free too call me insane but heres the thing: Strumming patterns do not matter. Just strum to the rhythm of the song and you will get a close if not exact variation of the actual strumming pattern. It works. Ive tried it. And I just did it on this pretty little song. :)

It's basically a karaoke version. It's really good, makes a person's voice really stand out, guitar does. Maybe you can learn by watchin his fingers on the frets. It's a video after all. You can forward and rewind it all you want. :)
