  • If you soar up heavenwards, you adorn the azure sky, If you descend earthwards, you gladden the craggy mountains. And, your absence makes the craggy ledges bereft of any life!

  • I love Tibet! Love Amdo!

  • To all Tibetans and supporters:

Sorry to interfere on this beautiful song.

Please watch Namkha song on utube video to support him. He is right now in prison for singing song on Tibetan Culture, basic freedom or human rights and so on. Tibetan singers in Tibet can't sing freely. Al their song or the albums are censored. EVen thought they seem happy when singing but sings in duress or in fear.

Help support Namkha. Bravo Namkha. We Tibetans outside Tibet thank you for your bravory.

  • Hi everybody who is the best singer in these singers? for me is the Dubye is best by his voice and strong courage whenever he is singing sonngs.

  • I like this song so much!!!!!

  • I like the way the Amdo-wa, men as well as women, wear their chupa. They carry it so well!. It is understated, but infinitely graceful!!

And I like the quite dignity and humulity of Palgon....the tenderness with which he encourages the buchung in red shirt to sing or to go to the front...with a quite smile and a slight nod of his head. Superb! Palgon and the amdo singers...please continue churning out more of your beautiful songs.

  • hi from germany.

    i love this music!!!

    Free Tibet

  • shiker99

    You said

"free tibet ppl, just go and stay there at least 1 year then will you? "

    What are you implying here?

  • if someone want to work on any complicated issue. non mediated/filtered first hand information and experience r necessary precondition.

  • I respect ur stance no matter whatever it is. I truely wish u could return and live happyly on ur land.

i am a han just represent myself, i grow up in amdo, tibetan culture is in my blood too.

if u hate han, i understand why so i wont fight back.

what i dont like is those ppl who just shout slogans just for feeling good but actually doesnt really care, because they r risk others blood.

my humble opinion, what need now is our wisdom not emotion, no matter how hard it is.

  • we happily will if the freaking greedy chinese decide to leave our land alone of us to have.. and free the people they r forcing to labour for them...

yea we would be very happy to go there.

    peace [piss] on u

  • dream on then and get a life maybe but u mostly will end up with fxxxxing with urself.

u know nothing, l suppose u come from those slave owner families, local tibetan wont recognize u as tibetan cuz wot u d done to them.

besides, mogols and hans r much earlier residence in amdo than qiang/tibetan, even in lasa city there r muslins live for more than 10 generations.

and u wanna be a nazi without that power.

u wanna piss on me? let me see how can u do that.

adults talking, pathetic kid shut up.

  • u look like the kid here... wtf do u mean by slave owner family o.0 my great grandad died in tibet protecting my grand mom and dad

and my grandparents ran to india on a 30 day trip on the mountains with no good food...

they barely survived on that trip.

they had to work hard 24/7 to feed my parents and hope they could get a better future and represent tibet...

now who's the pathetic kid here?

u shut up and dont speak if u dont kno any thing about others...

  • 1951 the treaty between central gov and gasha gov signed.

1951 to 1958 the gasha gov refused to do any tiny reform on serfdom. one of the tiny example incident lead to 1958, was, when central gov try to pay wage to a 'serf ', local 'noble' offensed, then executed the serf. this serf was grandpa of one of my tibetan middle school classmate. u can clearly see abomination when he talk about miserable slave life his elder generation has been through. so only u have tragedy family history?

  • when did i say i am the only one with a tragic family history

u said my family used to own slaves

please read what i said and then answer...

and why r baking up china when china did those stuff to ur family? u must really be a loser...

  • 'must be' means probably. those who "raise up" and fled away mostly came from 5% upper class, sadly they were sold by Apei right after the thing happened. do u kno who this guy is? of course u dont know, u only know family folklore.

make it clear, loads of tragic family history was made by tibetan upper class, other than because of war, if ur reading and understanding ability is so low. and those ppl who dont know about themselvs are far more pathetic. and i was talking about my friend,

  • explain why after late 90s, many fled away ppl fled back include some "guerilla war elites"?

why ppl lead much much better life than those in dalashalan? why my another friend's grandma told me personally that she still worship dalai but doesn't want him come back to rule at all?

i am a loser since i waste so much time on u. good luck to ur brain, be careful next time u want to piss on somebody.

  • It is Dharamshala.

  • ok, thank u.

  • and the description u gave strengthen my suspicion. personally i respect any suffering, yet is that the reason u support dalai lama's plan to take almost half of china as "greater tibet autonomy" has never ever been the tibetan area, and expel all other like 20 ethical groups living in tibet?my homeland where u called amdo we called qinghai, other ethical groups live there for centuries, why should they leave? and how? by war? by 'genocide' as u lied to the whole world?

  • I too want an end to suffering. I dont think you understand the Dalai Lama to well!

  • that ur opinion. I have no opinion on it. i ll try to get more information and penetrate more inside T-Buddhism, maybe i could do better. however, a Catholic's point of view to the Pope is definitely never the same to those non-Catholic. i dont have too much negative view on him actually. yet i dont think he should be considered as perfect bcuz he is the incarnation of Avalokiteshvara. about other history facts, that all have great opportunity to be distorted.

  • We don think he is perfect! Nobody is perfect! It is not the religous side we like about him! He is a role model! Chrisitans say the HS helps them we think he does!

  • free tibet ppl, just go and stay there at least 1 year then will you?

  • I lived there for 20 years then fled.

    FREE TIBET!

  • that was the worst time, i understand ur pain and suffering. things r changing fast.

  • so.. u want Tibetan people to stay in tibet under Chinese rule, not getting to worship our own leader, and getting punished if we do... you want that to happen?

well then if that is what you want i guess ur not a Tibetan.

and ur name sounds like a nepali/indian name...

  • not ALL Tibetan r religious, though i don't 100% agree with the current policy.

however things r not so simple as u conceive, u might be a little bit younger for having a total understanding.

my name is appropriated from my original name.

as an offing of Tibetan u should stand on the land n smell the life n culture there at least once. that is my suggestion, i was not arguing with u about any other issues, u can hold whatever opinion u r holding.

    peace.

  • amdo 5 star

  • so powerful and melodic.

  • This is Palgon, the founder of modern Tibetan pop music, he is a creator and innovator, loved so many Tibetans.

  • hi you are best singer in the world. i really like your songs. thank you. jigdo

  • yea , he is da best !

  • China you have lost your soul You are loosing your international face. The concept of any society is one based on fair play, and you are only cheating yourselves of a future. Please leave Tibet and show the world that you can be great! and that you can act in the the interest of humanity. This could be your GIFT to the World for Beijing Olympics 2008 Would,nt this be a first for Mankind.

  • do u even know what place it is?

  • @jimsim3 If China doesn't give up Tibet to Tibetans then the next Olympics should be a Tibetan Olympics in Dharamsala,India. Anyway great video and nice to see some Tibetan Culture in Chinese Occupied Tibet.

  • Thank you for your wonderful Agupema song.

  • listen to the beat at the last part...great bass n melody...awesome...I LOVE IT¨¨¨¨¨give some MORE!!!!!

  • real tibetan hero of nationalism

  • Chinese government obviously feels secure enough to encourage a distinct Tibetan cultural identity. If you pay attention to the second line of the Chinese characters at the right side, this concert is co-sponsored by "Chinese Communist Party Concile of Marqu County".
