Pardon my stupidity, but what is the point of this piece of equipment? I could understand if it had a rear hitch for towing or a front mounting plate, but I don't see anything of the sort. Am I just missing something?
I like how it has a pulley PTO designed right into the opposite flywheel, no clutch to slip. This would have been a handy thing to have around to run a corn sheller.
@1944johndeerel Really is an elegant solution. Keeps center of gravity low and convenient place to have the flat belt pulley without needing a hole in the cowl.
@scotty2307 yeah but getting the crank shaft in the center of the drive axle? that must have taken some real clever minds to pull that off and have it be something that wouldent fail soon after leaving the factory.
@scotty2307 Not to mention instant wheel weights, without having to add wheel weights! Just don't get around any heavy brush that one of those flywheels could fling back at you. :-O
does it work by the engine going to the flywheel 'whats in the wheel", is it a set of planeteries in it?

Really ingenious design, imagine it'd be a little tough to work on though.
