LOL, you delete my comment. Was it too much truth? I want to hear a song from you all with meaning and not some dancing crap. You don't need that to get big. Just look at new artists like Asher Roth, Charles Hamilton, and Kid Cudi. Enough with the gimmicks.
Loook ma dude, I'm going to delete your comment everytime you have something negative to say about the movement. It's actually going somewhere. I'm not a dance song rapper, I focus more on lyrics but people want to hear all the dance stuff. If you don't grab hold of that opportunity then you're the dumb one. Check my myspace and listen 2 my music there and you'll see this is WAY out of my norm. Or betteryet, give me ur email, I'll prove to you that I'm 1000 times better than you THINK I am.
I respect that and have seen your MySpace. I know you're better than this. Even homie Asher Roth said with the way the business is, you need one gimmick song in order to sell. Disheartening how it has gotten nowadays. You use to have to be dope in order to even get on the radio. This was back in the 90s. Now, if you have a catchy beat and lyrics that junior high kids could write (see Soulja Boy), you're all over the radio.
Exactly, and that's what I can't stand. But at the same time, that's the way the game goes. Either you play it or it plays you. So I'm playing it so that I can get in the door, switch it up on people and still have a huge fanbase and actually make a difference. That was the whole plan to this Mike Phelps Song/Dance.
Haaah... That back stroke went hard.
