germany must have the rule over all others. germany is the only sovereign country. i hate america and russia, because they have denied germany the victory. today america and russia are flooded with niggas, muslims and other scum. well done, u heroes! if germany would have won the domination, then everything would look different than today. without germany the world is nothing but a monkey dance!
The scale of the new Kanzlei was huge. We can see in the animation that each story is twice the height of the old building. That means about 8 mts to the ceiling ! Done with stone and marble looks like a Roman Forum building with square windows. Not a single brick of this building survived the war.
@pablof59 Well in fact the building was damaged but was still sdanding and could have been saved. The russians are the one who decided to tear it down after the war. I think it was a shame it was done.
@jforichon Wow, what a pity. I believe that it would have been very difficult to split the architectural value from the Nazi symbol , specially in those days. Read somewhere that construction cost was huge.

I can understand what you're saying. But, it is the thought that counts. He came to his senses. Was it way late in the game? Yes. But at least he was man enough to admit to himself that he'd been wrong and did bad things.
Speer came to his senses in time to admit responsibility at the Nuremburg trials. In his book he claimed to have averted much destruction at the end, and admitted his errors in architecture: A city lives by bringing diverse people together, by planning immense government buildings he would have crowded out all but the worst kind of grey soulless bureaucrat, producing a city that was bland and dead.
Albert Speer was really genues. No comparison to the modern pseudoarchitectors, who build just a crap.

It was too late, if he did assassinate him it wouldn't have been a big loss to Hitler anyway, as he would've killed himself a couple days later
