  • hi sr, is very interesting this proyects, but i don't know much about hardware. i want to control an, arm robot by 2.4GHz frequency with a control like yours, the questions is, what ports i need to use for this, i mean, do you have a schematic diagram, about your connections thanks so much for your help.!

  • So I plug the signal cable in to Pin 10 on my arduino. What do I with GND and 5V on the same channel?

  • @shebotnov GND to the GND of arduino and 5V to the 5V. But remember, now the receiver gets it's power of those wires. You should not connect other power suply for it! That also means, you should not connect the GND and 5V of other channels if you are using more than 1 ch. And also, looks like if you use 2 channels, you have to make little change in code. Put small delay (about 5ms) between every PulseIn reads. (I'm not sure, I modified my code and it may be that this only occurs with my code..)

  • spektrum sucks i got a dx3.0 2.4GHz and last week i was running my TC3, the POS DX3.0 glitched on me and i ended up crashing it at about 35 MPH and ended up with a bent chasis and my whole front end was gone, i was so fucking mad i called spektrum up and they dont even answer there own calls......I just ordered a new Fubata 3pm-x and lots of parts for my TC3, im tossing my DX3.0.....

  • What is the cheapest receiver that I can hook up to my arduino ?

  • @shebotnov I started using a $32 one from HobbyPartz for a normal RC aircraft, it's nothing special but gets the job done.

    hobbypartz com/79p-ct6b-r6b-radiosystem.html

  • @KrykoStorm thx I got 6 CH radio controller from HK. Will try to hook it up tomorrow.

  • @shebotnov Anything you like. I chose a 2.4ghz receiver because when i used a 27mhz receiver I got all sort of interference problems.

  • the arduino is a reciever itself, as well as a transmitter.

  • Can you post the code? Thanks

  • Very cool. Do you have any suggestions for features to look for in a transmitter? Do you know any good links to learn about RC transmitters?

  • awesome i was always interested in the dx6i it was quite expensive for the sight i was on how much did you buy it for? thanks great video

  • @numex106 I got the dx6i with a receiver module from hobby-lobby international for $199. Its a pretty awesome setup. I like the electronic trim settings.
