its a red deck the whole time except for a card that will be forced (the queen) and then there is a double back card on top (red on one side, blue on the other) with the blue side up to sell the appearence of a blue deck. when the pack is flipped he can cleanly show every single card being red except for the card that is mysteriously flipped over

The two top cards is blue! It Doesn't matter where you say stop, he always pulls of the upper card. Puts the remaining pile underneath, so the blue card is on top when he flips around. Then he flips the deck, taking the bottom card, which is also blue, flips it, so it looks like an ordinary deck of cards. Puts on the rubber band, throw the spec card in.. Throws the deck, and flip it at same time, and voila.. Easy, yet impressive:)

I liked the way you performed this effect. If I could give you one point:

Slow down. Create wonder. You're showing the effect as if what you just did is normal. It's not. It's magic. Slow down. Take your time. Especially when you change the deck colour and ESPECIALLY when you spread the cards out.

Watch how he shuffles. It's the Hindu shuffle, just upside-down. It was guaranteed that he would get the top card. So I got that much figured out.

Its a basic trick, he simply flips it over when the card in front of the camera (the lack of hand cordination makes this evident, no offence)and the when hes throwing the deck back and forth its just fliped to the other side. It would be a bit nicer performance if you could work on the final flip, because you could really see it. This is totally doable in front of an audience you just have to be quick and create misdirection.

I really do think there's no cameratricks or nothing fishy... I guess he has at least 2 cards from a blue deck. The selection card, and the "top card" he shows every time the other side of the deck is visable before them "becoming red".. just skillful shuffling -> you think you see a blue deck of cards, although you only see the other side of a few cards in the beginning.. don't know exactly, but that's my guess. Done something similar sometimes..
