  • ummmmm , ummm, ummmm , ummmmm .....

  • Cool but the AT899 is in the H4N and the VideoMicPro is in the T2i. I wonder what it would sounds like with a T3i/60D or with MagicLantern.

  • AT899 is sounds nice.

  • i think the videomic is clearer

  • do you have a tutorial of how you set up at8999 with the t2i? or would you please be able to briefly walk me through the process. which adapters did you use to convert the 3.5mm input etc. Thank you sir and your video quality looks delightful!!!

  • @chubbychunti The AT899 actually isn't hooked into the t2i. Listen to the video closely and I explain that the AT899 is connected to a Zoom H4N. The H4N has XLR inputs. You can get a female XLR to 3.5mm adapter from places like B&H that will allow you to hook the AT899 power module into the t2i but you'll be battling the auto gain function. For best audio results, you need to hook any microphones in externally to an audio recorder.

  • Hey, try and take a look on the software called "Pluraleyes", it will scan for audio from you camera and sync it up with the audio you get from the external mic.
