  • I want to make love to that road with my busa...

  • If you are here just for the crash skip to 3:34

  • i was expecting to see a crash right off the bat.... instead saw some great riding followed by a nice textbook highside =) impressive =) ride safe guys!

  • Gsx-r: 1 Yamaha: 0 gixXXxer forever

  • @rebelos83 This is just a typical squid GSX-R rider comment. Anyone who calls Suzukis GIxXXxXxXXxErZ is a squid.

  • @CBR600ABS you are right im actually riding a gsx-r 750 :D stop hating little 600cc boy XD

  • @rebelos83 In the past 20 years, between Motogp and WSB combined, Suzuki has 3 championships. Yamaha has 8, including 5 of the last 8 motogp championships.

    Yamaha FTW

  • @JTtheKicker it's not the bike it's the rider

  • @mrnoname8999 Meh, to a certain extent. Rossi owns while with Yamaha. Leaves for Ducati and can't do shit?

But yeah, when it comes down to street bikes, all bikes in the same class are basically identical. Power maybe located differently throughout the rpm's, but basically the same.

  • Beautiful riding, looks like a fun road. Hope the rider didn't get hurt, looks like he slid off the road

  • Damnnn what a shame, such good riding! Well shit happens... Didnt look like it was a horrible one tho

  • damn that fucking sux. despite the title, i wasnt expecting that at all considering how well those 2 were doing. extremely impressive riding. hope he's ok

  • he saw the camerman and say "what the hell , pedal to the medal"

  • @cougz82 and jammed the bike down a gear while slamming the rear brake on...

  • i did mean the poof with soul summit or other in...........

    aaaahhhhh who cares.

  • I can't tell if the crash resulted from too much throttle or too much rear brake. You can see the black tire mark right before the crash.

  • @CptFUNK1 nobody with any decent riding experience or knowledge would get on the rear break in a turn. guaranteed to lowside for sure.

too much throttle. this happens commonly with liter bikes... how can you not resist opening it up?!

  • @J3ui a bit scary

a rear brakes for dragging on most road machinery.

front bake'll lowside 7 days of the week, not rear.

  • @cokerel trail braking is done with your front brake and not rear.

you obviously don't ride or know how to

  • Proper track riding on the road . . . it was a matter of time. Good skills. Glad you weren't hurt too bad.

  • Very good riding, bad ending. Take care.

  • @rudman2

Typischer higsider.

  • No disrespect but . . .

But if you ride like an asshole, you have to accept the risk.

Don't commit the crime if you can't do the time . . so to speak

  • Was war hier sein Fehler?? ehrlich, ich möchte es wissen!

  • HAH i knew itd be the r1

  • Not that I agree with seriously aggressive riding on public roads but both riders were riding extremely well. I really love the "learn to ride" comments from people. Really? There are two kinds of motorcyclist. Those that have went down and those that are going to go down. If you ride a lot, if you ride hard, you WILL crash eventually.

  • What a great video ! just watched it 4 times for the mindblowing street riding

    before the crash .

  • that one in the front is a maaad fucka ;D

  • Good riding, screw the haters. shit happends

  • Good riding, screw the haters.

  • Dude was aking for it, Happy he is okay though!

  • 3:36 for those, who don't want to waste 3 minutes of their lives.

  • 1:07 safety on public roads.

  • @carlstuartgamble Save the advice before you kill someone, asshole. You don't ride with slicks on the street, moron. They can't handle any moisture and they don't have any grip until they're hot.

  • I have a fast bike too, but now I know, I can't ride it!!

  • Save your time, go straight to 3:33

  • scarey stuff, i could never ride like that, i dont have the balls. lol

  • that's so fucking cool...Sorry for the R1 at the end...but nice riding ckills for the guy!

  • This is some serious driving, man! Can you tell me what's happened and how? Thanks.

  • I like 0:00 to 3:37, Not 3:37 to 3:43...

    Great riding though (Crash aside)

  • Great riding!!! If you try this type of riding in greek roads, you probably will die.. :-P

  • WOW this ist the best riding skills i ever see on the road !!!

  • Hi, i 'm French and I ride an old BSA, just to say, but I think you both ride much too close to each other. I mean anything can happen or cross the road and that's it ! It's quiet dangerous for you and others. I live in the south of France and believe me you better keep your right for the car drivers easely cross the line especialy in those curves. You're good drivers though ! I hope no one was hurt. Good luck.

  • I was fucking waiting for him to crash :)

  • silly mistake gettin abit carried away with ur right hand but happens to the best of us, otherwise mate great vid and great ridin :)

  • lmfao!! nice crash.... fucking sucks when you crash huh?? hahaha

  • skip to 3:35 if u dont want to watch the whole thing lol

  • It was great until the crash! Still dont know which is best the gixer or the R1??? The R1 does it on looks but see what it does! GREAT VIDEO!

  • As a racer myself, riding on public roads like this is just plain NUTS! Do it on the track Mate! Good luck racing.

  • Yep I am with you Hoylesey, live and learn. I didn't start riding until I was in my 30's and you are lot better than me. It is amazing how many experts there are who have commented on this particular vid. Anyway great vid and good luck when you start riding in the World Moto GP against xsoulfearx who is no doubt already there, either that or he is a smart arse 13 year old boy sitting in front of a computer who has never even ridden a mini bike let alone an R1.

  • Nice camera work and editing.

I was also going to say how moronic this sort of riding on the street is, especially being so jerky on the throttle; but I see you say you have now gone to the track. GOOD STUFF mate :) Thats the best place to ride to your limits and you improve so much more there. Also, lets face it, the street is so LAME compared to the track anyway.

For all you other knobs out there who try to emulate this, make sure you sign your organ donor cards.

  • loved watching the raw footage the fast bike lads use to get!!

having seen vids like this from em in years,

  • kool video and nice bikes :D

  • loved the video!

  • Like who didn't see that coming?

  • Like who didn't see that coming?

  • Not trying to sound like a hater here, but he kind of had that coming riding like that. Take it to the track retard.

  • @adrenalineboyzryan - since a track is so easily accessible... retard.

  • @korefighter Unless you live in the middle of nowhere, there are tracks all across america. I live an hour away from three different tracks.

  • So....what was the mistake? Maybe a little crossed up and compensating for it by leaning the bike more?

  • video top mas o acidente naum valeu hehehe

  • Amazing video, I'm sure he ended up fine. Both the riders have skills.

  • just another example of a couple of douche bags that just think they know how to ride fast... you lean leading with your head and your shoulders not with your ass

  • your not so cool know.

  • could save minutes if u put in the crash only :D

  • Awesome footage! Really enjoyed watching that... until the end... I was actually frightened by that... kinda makes me want to take it slower on my knee dragging... any tips on knee dragging, as I can see you have had "Trial and error." nothing like helping someone not make the same mistakes as you. I'm a beginner at it... but I've been riding for 2 years.

  • I don't know how to ride a motorcycle, but how does one prevent the highside after the back wheel slips out? Is it possible to increase the speed of the back wheel so that it doesn't grip until you regain balance?

  • @JoshRom u have to back off the throttle to not let it lowside but not to much so that it highsides. its a very fine line which i have heard is very difficult to master

  • Once he started sliding what should he have done to keep from high-siding?????

  • Nice riding Rob. These haters don't know what they are talking about.

  • man those guys r good... too bad at end :( he was doin so well

  • wow, great riding, belongs on the track though, not on the highway... at least yall are geared up - cheers!

  • man the guy in red is crazy but they were both crossing lines a lot too and thats scary.

  • Fast Bikes with colin running the show was a great mag, its never been the same since.

  • @shadydave

Very true - he brought a whole new dimension to motorcycle magazines and reflected the dynamism and excitement through FB with edgy tests and hardcore riding.

Thing is, the average reader has changed and for any magazine to survive they had to change to suit them.

Fast Bikes ain't so bad now, but I know where you're coming from - it used to be unique, now it's not...

  • @Hoylesey No its not a bad mag now but the rawness that was evident in colins time isnt their, you just knew every test was done totally on the limit back then, happy times, best of luck rob anyway, dave.

  • @Hoylesey tanto va la gatta al lardo che ci lascia lo zampino...vai in pista, fenomeno con la R1!!

  • Comment removed

  • @Hoylesey

How has the average reader changed? Are you saying they are not as concerned with high performance anymore?

  • o thats not cool is he ok?

  • As far as i remember this video was a bit longer ,anyone know where i can see ful lenght...?

  • You guys have skills. Mistakes happen. Great video.

  • Ouch, thats gonna leave a mark, in the wallet, and in the pride!!

  • Don't you just love the internet! Where any pussy can speak his mind without fear of an ass beating.

I thought it was a great video and you are nutz!

  • WoW !!!!! two idiots in the same place !!!!! Discovery Channel?????

  • do u miss the road dude?

  • what exactly got wrong that made him to fall ?

  • @userisonline The R1's back wheel lost traction shot out and came back forcing the bike and rider forward onto the pavement...

  • @vedderrules

Don't we all learn from our mistakes?

Four years after this was shot I started racing and four years further on I've improved a bit - doesn't getting it wrong help you to learn how to get it right?

Glad you found it funny though - it was purely put up on here for entertainment - and the amount of hits it's had would say it's working.

Happy and safe (and in your case no doubt, brilliant) riding!

    Hoylesey

  • @xsoulfearx

After 4 years of racing I should be in GP?

Blimey, bearing in mind I didn't start racing 'til I was 31, and pay for it myself, I was pretty happy with how things were going racing in the British Superstock Championships ...

I look forward to seeing footage of you riding - I'm sure we'll all be able to learn something from it...

  • @Hoylesey keyboard warrior.

i'm sure if he knew you he'd be hanging his head low at the end of a rideout.

    lol.

  • @xsoulfearx The fact you got into racing at 31, makes you too old to compete. You're past whatever prime you could have accomplished. 18,19,20 year olds who have been competing since they were 10, will school you up and down the track like there is no tomorrow. Don't mean to be rude, or say that I am better than you, because I don't know if I am or not, I am just giving insight to reality here.

  • @vedderrules Ahh. The internet. The only place where an over weight teenager, living in his parents basement, instantly becomes an expert on riding.

Lets see some vids of you riding mate...

  • @vedderrules

if you really think its 'funny' to see a person crash like that, because you think they cant drive you shouldnt be allowed to drive at all,

and by the way, i hardly doubt youve EVER been on a track with a motorcycle, if your saying that one should be in motogp after 4 years of riding on the track

  • @vedderrules You failed at time dumby the video is only 3 mins and 45 secs retard

  • Feels like im watching top gun.

  • Spolier: He crashes at 3:38

  • Excellent crash

  • good riding

  • good shit!!! excellent body positioning and direction changes in such little space between corners!top job.shame bout the high side but happens to everyone some time i suppose

  • Ouch!

  • geile strecke geiles video nur schade um die R1 aber na wo gehobelt wird da fallen späne!

  • Thats a shame wen it happens... things where going well. But hey it happens to the best, Lorenzo had the same fly at Laguna a few years ago! Keep riding and keep safe!

  • You can't fix stupid. Go on- keep riding like a large type asshole and the pain and suffering that awaits you is massive. You will wad your shit racing on the street and probably kill an innocent bystander, you fucking twit. A sportbike isn't a penis pump. Take it to the track, dickwad. Prove to the whole world how much of a macho throttle twister you are. Let us all know when a MotoGP team hires you. By the way, you can't sign autographs if you're paralyzed. Idiot.

  • @Muzzy337 yeh umm, I agree, and he has taken it to the track. And he is good - He is often finishing close behind and sometimes in front of previous motogp wildcard Gary May.....and im sureyour so much better on a bike too eh "Muzzy."

  • @Muzzy337 u r gay

  • @rudman2 Fuck you, shit for brains.

  • Small penis+no brain+sportbike+camera=bodycast.

  • £150 per day plus all expenses paid trip to South of France to ride for DVD footage for a project that sells worldwide = light cast on right ankle, actually.

And anyway, my ankle's fine now and I'm enjoying life - by the sounds of it, you'll always be a dick.

  • Most boring video on youtube. I will never get those minutes back. Ever.

  • ouch

  • Great riders! Really enjoyed this.

  • it didnt even look like he was going all the way down, watch for a chance that you will highside and remember the front breaks are your friend

  • All of this just to prove that you have free will? How is this freedom. It looks like a compulsion to me. There is a need to prove something. What are you trying to prove? What is it in your enviroment that is compelling you? Don't rationalize. Think it over. Is this really freedom? I don't think so.

  • Why and how does everyone overseas have a film crew in the woods????

  • Two Great Pilots! One has to die though! JK!

  • Oh shit. That´s realy unhappy. But good drive guys. 5*

  • This is AwEsOmE !

  • As a rider, you accept the risks. But this doesn't mean the you can but the public at risk. Go to the track. Saying sorry, just doesn't quite cut it for someone innocent in the hospital.

  • I hope the rider was OK.

However, as good as some of the riding was - there is no place for riding like that on the road.

Get on a track day and have some respect for other people.

  • fuckin good riders.

  • till the end , when he high-sided

  • you are right there, but you def dont see riders like these everyday thats for damn sure.

  • Rob is a good rider and highsides happen to the best of us...... even V. Rossi. Nice vid. I had my first ever highside @ Donnington coming out of the Melbourne loop. As a biker you must experience the highside @ least once and after a while when the experience starts kicking in it should happen less frequent.

  • Very unfortunate

  • sick ass road, wishi had somethign liek that here.

  • Unlucky?? Good skills n hope dude was ok!! respect guys!!

  • Ouch, man, I didn't expect this crash to happen...I was just writing "awsome vid" when the guy with the R1 crashed...overall though really really really epic material...really tight around the corners. Awesome.

  • the R1 pilot is very cool... respect men!

  • that is the best video i have seen on youtube

  • they are damn great!

  • great video ...i crashed the same some time ago ....it happens to everybody at least once, its inevitable...

  • Excellent camera work and editing :)

  • Seriously epic. I can watch this over and over again.

  • One of the best vids on youtube... To bad that has to happen in the end. But still a great riding vid.

  • Quality vid...just how i like it ;-) ;-)

  • FAST BIKES CREW

    legendary

only thing i've seen that is as mad as them is the greek bikers that you can see in my bikes bikes bikes playlist!

    serioulsy impressive!

  • li mortè... bravissimi... e se capita a voi figuriamoci a tutti gli altri... Occhi aperti su strada e ste cose facciamole in pista!!!!

  • Damn!

  • You guys are incredible! The Yamaha rider is freaking FAST! I hate how when you least expect something like this to happen, it strikes. It happened to me also coming out of a high speed turn. Get back up and keep at it!

  • amazing riders wow!!!

  • you can see the black streak for about 20 feet behind him before he high sides. thats the down side to 1000 cc bikes, you're spinning you're tire around the corner and dont even know it until some times its to late. i crashed my 07 gixxer 1 at the track, i know how it feels. and i always use it on the c map setting cause its more then enough, but my bike is 90% a street bike and 1000's are more fun on the road.

  • good riding hope ur all good

  • was that gxr rider sayin f*** at 1:25?? did you slide n catch real quick? done that way too many times and still havn't gone down. My luck is wearin' out.

  • Are these the guys from Fastbikes?

  • Was that you Hoylesy?

  • nice vid!

  • glad it wasnt at high speed

  • what was teh result of that highside?

  • damn get that kid some Dunlop 211's. That hurt my feelings

  • amazing road!

  • fuck!!!!!! the man can ride a bike cant he..
