@rebelos83 In the past 20 years, between Motogp and WSB combined, Suzuki has 3 championships. Yamaha has 8, including 5 of the last 8 motogp championships.
@mrnoname8999 Meh, to a certain extent. Rossi owns while with Yamaha. Leaves for Ducati and can't do shit?
But yeah, when it comes down to street bikes, all bikes in the same class are basically identical. Power maybe located differently throughout the rpm's, but basically the same.
damn that fucking sux. despite the title, i wasnt expecting that at all considering how well those 2 were doing. extremely impressive riding. hope he's ok
Typischer higsider. Not that I agree with seriously aggressive riding on public roads but both riders were riding extremely well. I really love the "learn to ride" comments from people. Really? There are two kinds of motorcyclist. Those that have went down and those that are going to go down. If you ride a lot, if you ride hard, you WILL crash eventually.
@carlstuartgamble Save the advice before you kill someone, asshole. You don't ride with slicks on the street, moron. They can't handle any moisture and they don't have any grip until they're hot.
Hi, i 'm French and I ride an old BSA, just to say, but I think you both ride much too close to each other. I mean anything can happen or cross the road and that's it ! It's quiet dangerous for you and others. I live in the south of France and believe me you better keep your right for the car drivers easely cross the line especialy in those curves. You're good drivers though ! I hope no one was hurt. Good luck.
Yep I am with you Hoylesey, live and learn. I didn't start riding until I was in my 30's and you are lot better than me. It is amazing how many experts there are who have commented on this particular vid. Anyway great vid and good luck when you start riding in the World Moto GP against xsoulfearx who is no doubt already there, either that or he is a smart arse 13 year old boy sitting in front of a computer who has never even ridden a mini bike let alone an R1.
I was also going to say how moronic this sort of riding on the street is, especially being so jerky on the throttle; but I see you say you have now gone to the track. GOOD STUFF mate :) Thats the best place to ride to your limits and you improve so much more there. Also, lets face it, the street is so LAME compared to the track anyway.
For all you other knobs out there who try to emulate this, make sure you sign your organ donor cards.

I don't know how to ride a motorcycle, but how does one prevent the highside after the back wheel slips out? Is it possible to increase the speed of the back wheel so that it doesn't grip until you regain balance?
@JoshRom u have to back off the throttle to not let it lowside but not to much so that it highsides. its a very fine line which i have heard is very difficult to master
Very true - he brought a whole new dimension to motorcycle magazines and reflected the dynamism and excitement through FB with edgy tests and hardcore riding.

Save yourself the boredom and having to watch a bad rider for 3 minutes by skipping to 3:45 to watch him lose it and then laugh your head off. Think he needs to learn to ride.
Four years after this was shot I started racing and four years further on I've improved a bit - doesn't getting it wrong help you to learn how to get it right?
Glad you found it funny though - it was purely put up on here for entertainment - and the amount of hits it's had would say it's working.
Happy and safe (and in your case no doubt, brilliant) riding!
Blimey, bearing in mind I didn't start racing 'til I was 31, and pay for it myself, I was pretty happy with how things were going racing in the British Superstock Championships ...
I look forward to seeing footage of you riding - I'm sure we'll all be able to learn something from it...
@xsoulfearx The fact you got into racing at 31, makes you too old to compete. You're past whatever prime you could have accomplished. 18,19,20 year olds who have been competing since they were 10, will school you up and down the track like there is no tomorrow. Don't mean to be rude, or say that I am better than you, because I don't know if I am or not, I am just giving insight to reality here.
if you really think its 'funny' to see a person crash like that, because you think they cant drive you shouldnt be allowed to drive at all,
and by the way, i hardly doubt youve EVER been on a track with a motorcycle, if your saying that one should be in motogp after 4 years of riding on the track
good shit!!! excellent body positioning and direction changes in such little space between corners!top job.shame bout the high side but happens to everyone some time i suppose
Thats a shame wen it happens... things where going well. But hey it happens to the best, Lorenzo had the same fly at Laguna a few years ago! Keep riding and keep safe!
You can't fix stupid. Go on- keep riding like a large type asshole and the pain and suffering that awaits you is massive. You will wad your shit racing on the street and probably kill an innocent bystander, you fucking twit. A sportbike isn't a penis pump. Take it to the track, dickwad. Prove to the whole world how much of a macho throttle twister you are. Let us all know when a MotoGP team hires you. By the way, you can't sign autographs if you're paralyzed. Idiot.
@Muzzy337 yeh umm, I agree, and he has taken it to the track. And he is good - He is often finishing close behind and sometimes in front of previous motogp wildcard Gary May.....and im sureyour so much better on a bike too eh "Muzzy."
£150 per day plus all expenses paid trip to South of France to ride for DVD footage for a project that sells worldwide = light cast on right ankle, actually.
And anyway, my ankle's fine now and I'm enjoying life - by the sounds of it, you'll always be a dick.
All of this just to prove that you have free will? How is this freedom. It looks like a compulsion to me. There is a need to prove something. What are you trying to prove? What is it in your enviroment that is compelling you? Don't rationalize. Think it over. Is this really freedom? I don't think so.
As a rider, you accept the risks. But this doesn't mean the you can but the public at risk. Go to the track. Saying sorry, just doesn't quite cut it for someone innocent in the hospital.
Rob is a good rider and highsides happen to the best of us...... even V. Rossi. Nice vid. I had my first ever highside @ Donnington coming out of the Melbourne loop. Ouch, man, I didn't expect this crash to happen...I was just writing "awsome vid" when the guy with the R1 crashed...overall though really really really epic material...really tight around the corners. Awesome.
You guys are incredible! The Yamaha rider is freaking FAST! I hate how when you least expect something like this to happen, it strikes. It happened to me also coming out of a high speed turn. Get back up and keep at it!
you can see the black streak for about 20 feet behind him before he high sides. thats the down side to 1000 cc bikes, you're spinning you're tire around the corner and dont even know it until some times its to late. i crashed my 07 gixxer 1 at the track, i know how it feels. and i always use it on the c map setting cause its more then enough, but my bike is 90% a street bike and 1000's are more fun on the road.
was that gxr rider sayin f*** at 1:25?? did you slide n catch real quick? done that way too many times and still havn't gone down. My luck is wearin' out.
I want to make love to that road with my busa...

@CptFUNK1 nobody with any decent riding experience or knowledge would get on the rear break in a turn. guaranteed to lowside for sure.

One of the best vids on youtube... To bad that has to happen in the end. But still a great riding vid.
