@jarRAD6661 i did just copy the file inside the disc to the app folder and then eject it and delete the download file but make sure utorrent worked in the app folder!

yeah i get a problem after downloading software which are meant to be for mac!!

after i painstakingly wait for hours to download something, when i unzip the crappy file i get these grey/black boxes and my mac says i cant open the file and to choose an application to so with!!

i downloaded it 3 times from 3 different websites including the utorrent website, when i installed it each time i tried to open up utorrent it wouldnt open, this is why i hate macs, i was so much with windows, but my mum just had to go and buy a mac! i used to be able to download any kind of programme on windows, but mac wont let me download a single thing! the only good thing about macs is you cant get viruses on them, because people hate macs so much they cant be botherd to make viruses 4 them

@giantpenguin72 .. depending on wh`at version ur mac is utorrent wont work i think its only from osx 10.5 and newer!!

try using torrentstation this might work better for you if your using an older osx!!

Ok, uTorent itself, no chance ur fine, but when downloading the torrents what you want to do is find one that has comments, read the comments, the comments will usually tell u if there is a virus or not, if there are no comments, then go for the one with the most seeders and leechers, however if there are no comments confirming then there is a higher (but no high) chance of viruses.
