I need an opinion, does anyone use anything other than MSC on their Hujoo? If so, what do you use? Thanks

@DrJilly8 There are a couple of different things people use. There are people that use a VOLKS version of the spray and there is another spray used for models called Testors. I have heard mixed things about the testors but I think it is just best to use a good sealant so nothing happens to your work :S

Hello Mrs.Asenva, I nedd help because I am thinking about getting a Hujoo 43.5 Dana doll. What do I need for this doll in suppies and do her eyes come in her head? Also, I need to know where you bought this doll because I;m thinking about buying mine from Hujoo.com. Is this a good site to use? Please get back to me soon and if that isnt a good site then please tell me where you got yours and if the dolls come all put together or not. Thank you for your time!

@hakui3of3fantage3 congrats on considering getting her. I got her from the Junkyspot store. They are an american distributor which means that if you live in america you don't have to pay the EMS shipping and they can help you if something is wrong versus going to the foreign company for help. Getting it from the site isn't bad but if you live in the states you can save some money by using a distributor. I will message you about the rest

@cricketprincess1988 :D Oh I just painted them on their. She has bottom painted lashes but she has zero upper lashes :D Thanks again!

@lynn4shine There are lots :D A favorite of mine are the mungyo pastels. But other peeps use like the faber castle ones too. I just find that the pigment is richer in those mungyo ones :D

Hi there Asenva! :D I really loveee this doll, but I am not so fond of the way their faces look. >.< I love the way you did her faceup, but I have never been a fan of the Hujoo faces. Do you think an 40 cm Obitsu head or other doll heads might work with her body?

@ashleyysmilesalot :D Yes I do! Most MSD heads look like they will fit. You just need to check the neck circumferences and make sure they are about the same :D

The Dana doll is really cute! I think the blue eyes are very pretty :D They're very vivid and would catch the light well in photos ^^ Good job on the face up!

@Krankhafter Well it depends on the brand and MSC you use I think :3 I have a great set of pastels that I stumbled upon and I always alwayyysss make sure to spray MSC before doing any faceup work :D

@AsenvaBJD Ohh good to know. I always spray MSC AND Zokeimura. The ZM helps it stick a little, but maybe it's because I'm using cheaper pastels. I'll have to find some better ones XD

Omg Asenva I adore your vids. Like seriously. o o. I ordered a new doll that'll be with me any day now (Doll leaves Sisley WOO!) But holy crud I cannot. CANNOT do eyelashes. So my question for you is HOW do you thin your acrylics!? Mine go all lumpy and weird!!! 0o... Do you use thinner or water or what ;m; and sweet mercy your pastels go on so niice... @PaperMidnight :D Ahhh congrats on getting your new doll! That is so fantastic!! Welllll the good way to thin acrylic is with a thinner of some sort :3 I have an actual flow-aid for my liquitex paints but I get lazy and just use water most of the time lolol. But all the "by the book" ways will say to use a thinner and they are right :)

I've always wandered what your current face up process was! This actually helps me a lot, because all the tutorials I've seen are either too confusing, or have a very round about way of explaining things, but just watching you do the face-up taught quite a few things!

Also, just a pointer, Eyebrow hairs don't stick straight up, they slant to the side. And the lower lashes are really thick, I don't know if this is just a preference, but I thought I would go ahead and point it out C:

I still love those eyes on her. If they're too creepy and you want a similar color, DDE has some. I got bashful blue and they're much darker in the center (and in general from the picture). They photograph well! I'll show you a pic of them if you want to see. DDE also got some new Sky blue eyes with a black center. Down side: both are $18...but honestly, having an $8 pair from MoC and an $18 pair from DDE, I think DDE's are better. They catch more light and fill the eye hole better (less gaps).

YAY! I liked seeing your method for her^^ I have a vinyl girl (and plans for a vinyl boy^^). I used W&N brush cleaner on her and she didn't melt or anything, but she got a tad sticky. It washed off though! I do my face ups in full water color pencil because I like the softer look^^ I'd always wondered about your secret with eyelashes. Now I know! New blurb in another comment! I talk to much haha!
