I'm getting the Liftmaster 3850 installed next week for my neighbor's garage door (I live above their garage.....it's a townhome, so I'm above my own garage door plus 2 neighbors). The problem is noise, and the units in there right now are el cheapo and LOUD! It sounds like someone is running a blender in my living room every time they open/close the door. But this new model is belt driven and very quiet. I can't wait!
Installation is pretty simple, I was actually going to order it on eBay and install it myself, but then I found a dealer in town and they installed it for the price of shipping so it was a win/win. The thing to look for though, is that your garage door is aligned!
I will be shooting a NEW video that is more comprehensive: Inside, outside, remote open and wall mount close. It's your standard garage door opener, it just has the drive motor on the wall, in lieu of the ceiling. Oh, yeah! That annoying chain is gone! Super plus!
@MrGdmike you dont know what your talking about that 3800 is one of the best openers you can buy.
