This was tied for my favorite level in the game along with Creepy Castle. Ironically, this level was supposed to be in Banjo-Kazooie, but it was recycled into this game.

U forgot the mushroom on the ceiling of the lobby to Fungai Forest. U gotta shoot it with different kongs depending on the mushrooms color and once you've shot it with every kong then a little door opens and u can see a chunky pad. Use it to get a banana

The difference is day and night! Hooray for quoting the lame tagline for Sonic Unleashed which I thought was a better game than most people did as I didn't hate the Werehog levels, I thought they were fun, but I only have the Wii, so I only played the Wii version so I don't know how the Werehog plays in the other versions, but I liked playing as the Werehog. The concept on the other hand is kinda stupid, but I digress.

At the risk of repeating information that may have been spit out many many times in the comments already, I'll go ahead and mention that this world was originally intended to be in the original Banjo Kazooie, but was cut. (Sound files for Fungi Forest were found in Banjo Kazooie's code) Rare eventually found an avenue for the world it seems in this game.

I love Chunky's Mine Cart game =D. It's one of the best mini-games in the game ^_^. I'm not which one is better though: Chunky's Fungi Forest Cart or Donkey Kong's Creep Castle Cart.

These levels after Frantic Factory always give me this feeling of annoyance, since now that you have all 5 Kongs going into it, all their stuff it out at once, and you have to keep switching to make sure you get it all. This one adds the day/night feature on top of it.

I just played this game to get everything just recently, and there were two things I missed and had to go back for in the overworld. One was the banana fairy you show at the beginning here. The other was the battle crown in the same lobby that involves that mushroom on the celing.

Also, I'm thankful that you're doing 100 bananas with each kong. Hope the rematch with the bug goes well. :D

Rare seems to have a thing for forest levels centred around time. Click Clock Wood was centred around seasons and Fungi forest is centred around day/night.

I like this level because they didnt overuse the gimmick.
