@2funnylmao yes it will, but it has to be luke warm (most people say room temp, but for city TAP WATER, you NEED luke warm) (i know this by experience) ;P
This was nice but I think if you put a base colour of white the colours wouldn't come out so dark, and you could see the pattern better but still nice tutorial:)
@Neum3234 It's supposed to be dark. If I put a white base it would've changed the look and that's not what I wanted. Plus the blue isn't very dark so the effect was still prominent, it turned out exactly how I wanted.

@Eliareya You have to work super fast. Also, not all polishes will work together. They may clump up or not want to spread, it's all about trial and error. It's not too difficult at all once your the hang of it and it's actually not very messy.
@godsmack875 It's messier than tape. U can't wipe it off until your design is completely dry. If you wanna put ur topcoat on incase u wanna go to the bathroom or something you can't. Vaseline is a bad idea unfortunately.

DUDE!? I've tried 10 DIFFERENT brands of Nail Polish ( LastingFinishPro, 60SecindsRimmelLondon, XtreamWear, NYC, Insta-Dry, L.A. @8OMGWTFBBQXD from the brans u've listed i think ur using fast drying which is definitely what u don't wanna use, they'll dry on the water way too fast. try using slightly thinner type of polishes or changing the order in which u drop them into the water. unfortunately the polishes don't always like to work well with each other and even different colors in the same brand will work differently, all about trial and error until u find what works.

@WhirledPeas84 If you are dipping one nail at a time you can also use a shot glass which is relatively smaller and you wont use as much polish just fyi
@LASH3SKA yes and no. you don't get the same effect because ur gonna be using just as much polish only it's in a smaller place so you may or may not get the effect, also in a larger glass u get more options incase u mess up on one side but the other is perfect ya know what i mean
@SuperHajrah Everyone says this , but when you're doing your nails like normal , you usually put two coats right ? So you're probably going to use more nail polish doing it the normal way than if you did it with water marbling .
I stated in my info I don't know what's with the audio, it didn't sound like that when I was editing so somewhere between my computer and YouTube the audio messed up. Unfortuntely that's as good as it's gonna get, if you can hear me maybe try listening with head phones?
I personally found that the polish didn't spread as well. However, give it a try! A couple other tutorials I've seen they used cold or warm water because they had better results with it.

I watch videos about this all the time, admire how its done and how it looks, so I do the same thing but mine isn't beautiful, mine is like crap, it looks like nothing, so I don't even want to do this because then I have to clean that crap I've done on my nails,so I'm thinking about buying fake nails and doing the marbling to them, what do you think, would that work?
@Mindoljevicka It just takes practice. I only started having a go myself last night after watching loads of vids. It took about 6-7 attempts to get it looking nice. My 1st was so covered in bubbles that I couldn't see the pattern. By the end of my 2nd hand, I was producing something I would be happy to keep on.
Try using a base coat of the colour you want to stand out, that will help with seeing the pattern. Also try using colours that are contrasting, I found that, that brought out the pattern.

@MiLaMpOsT Some nail polish doesn't like to spread in the water and some polishes don't like to work well with others (they won't spread) so it's more about just seeing which ones work well together and with the water. I pick the colors I want to use together and if one doesn't work it's obvious because 1) it won't spread or 2) it won't let the next color spread. It's all trial and error lol
