I hope they sue SiFi for releasing the movie "Battle of Los Angeles" so near the release of this movie.

I was kinda confused seeing footage of that movie and being disgusted by its quality (non-existent and so far behind the most amateurish movie FX its disturbing they decided to release it).

I thought that footage was of this movie and didn't understand the hype at all.

But anyway, watch out, there's a utterly shitty SiFi original movie by the same name out atm, don't mistake it for this.

Don't listen to these people who gave this film a bad review. One of the best war/alien invasion movies I've ever seen! And it totally had a Black Hawk Down feel to it as well, only with aliens as the main enemy. I give this film an 8 out of 10.

I just got back from seeing this movie.. It came out today in HK. This movie is like a tribute to the Marines. It wasent anywhere near as shitty as Skyline. It doesnt end in a definative way either, so im pretty sure there will be a sequel. The aliens are bio-mechs, and pack serious firepower, but its not too different from the shit we use. Like caseless ammo, but still seems like bullets. I give the movie a 7.5 outta 10.

As far as technology goes, the shit they roll with is nuts. the US has the predator UAV, they got this shit that resembles a pizza, and the slices pop off with guns blasting in every direction..Its not a spoiler cause it shows it in the commercials. :)
