  • where is the smart blur? i was able to follow up until that because i cannot see your mouse where it went. u just said i use the smart blur image in the window to bring it forward.

  • thks cleared up some details for me...my biggest problem is what to get the photos printed on and where ??dont want photopaper!

  • good god... even with pausing this tutorial is too fast. :(

  • where can i buy painter is it available in retail stores? whats the approx cost thank you i look forward to your response as i can not find it anywhere in a retail store

  • what bursh is that one 1:36?? i have mine but its diferent

  • nice but a bit too fast

  • Very informative. Your voice is good and the methods used are clear.

  • do you know the activation code?

  • fast, but AWESOME - gonna try it out now, thanks for sharing!!!!

  • I tried using this and this layout doesn't look anything like my Corel Painter X on my Macintosh ... and if you want to go so fast, why call it tutorial 1 ? Why not intermediate or some other label so that someone who just bought the program doesn't open this.

  • So fast. Sounded like a rapid list being read out, line by line, by a narrator who's a bit bored. The Essentials video tutorials are much better, clearer, and personable.

However I do appreciate the techniques being presented and Karen is a very talented painter.

  • These videos are intended as demos, not as tutorials.

I am always so bored when the presenter includes every last cursor movement and says "uh" every sentence.

So I tried to keep things moving, and I think I was successful!

    lol

  • well, if you work with Painter or PS it's sometimes hard to turn to novice and slow down. We try to show the way we do it. When we make tutorials we usually keep the same speed of our work flow like we would work on daily basis especially with Painter or PS. So excuse our 'bad habits' lol. U can use any video editing soft to extend the speed to 150-170% if you need to. We try to make videos shorter. Also using pen tablet is way faster than just click with regular mouse especially using Cintiq

  • I appreciate this tutorial so much, thank you for doing it.. for me it was quite a bit fast, even with pausing, I do not know my way even a tincy bit around painter, so i kept having to rewind then pause multiple times. But like i said.. having a tutorial period is wonderfull thank you !! :)

  • I have to say that the speed was just right for me ...

    Good tips ....

  • Nice stuff! Thanks for the tips!

  • I prefer too fast than too slow, especially if you can pause. But it was just a tad too fast. Other than that, this was really awesome and well thought out. I sincerely appreciate your taking the time to make ans post this. I have other videos (Yancy) and I thought this was very good and gave me more options to painting faster. Thank you very much!!!!

  • yes I agree, a bit too fast but excelent tutorial.

  • u can pause it so that u can read =) hope that helped

  • you explain way to fast

  • Hi, thanks for your comment; sorry you found the tutorial too fast. We did get a lot of info in to it and at least in can be paused, but I will bear your feedback in mind for future videos

  • @vejzagic I Agree :c
