  • Nice, indeed...but, the Corvair engine was known to have issues with oil leakage in that pancake arrangement; how does a mechanic correct that to make it reliable in an aircraft?

  • BRAVO!!! The plane is so much more appealing with a real engine rather than one of those Rotax "lawnmower" motors!

  • where can I get more pics of this plane? I'm building one myself and want this paint scheme.... can you help me get pics?

  • NICE :D:SD:D:D:D:D:D

  • Nice sound... good for your

  • You can build that Zodiac with the Corvair engine for 20,000 or less if your careful and keep it basic. for 30k or more you can get a quick build kit to get it done faster and add some nicer stuff. You could also buy one used for 30k. Its a lot more fun than a sports car.

  • Or you can just shoot me an offer for my 2006 HDS. It only has 60 hours TTAE. EA-81 subaru conversion - Garmin 496, vortex generators, lotsa good stuff. But, I need something aerobatic. I'll fly it to you and you don't need to build anything.

  • @oughtabefreeandeasy hey do you still have your zenith zodiac for sale?

  • sounds just like a cessna 182 on takeoff

  • I've always heard about Corvairs in planes. They DO exist. I,ve been into 'Vairs for 32 years, this is a first for me.

  • The Corvair looks like an affordable engine for an airframe that can be scratch-built by an average builder. A winning combination!

  • it sounds nice.
