I actually never played this mission I tried for hours to get gold medals on all missions to get enough credits but got stumped on the Jedi yoda training Thingy. Never could get past the button mashing raise your xwing from the swamp part. But anyway good gameplay I havnt played this game for easily 3 years.

@offrhode92 ...You should try Rogue Squadron II. III has several ground levels, none of which are really done well. As you can see, the space levels are still excellent, but that's only about half of the game.

I'm aware that you also get to play those arcade games with Vader. I loved this game but sadly I only remember a few missions. The one on Hoth, Endor, some flight missions, etc. But what was like the LAST level. After beating that SUPER HARD missions on the snow speeder, you unlock secret missions. So what is the last secret mission. I love your game play! XD

@Karagianis While those are both legitimate points, we're talking more than a 15 year difference. The DS2 was near completion in about one fifth the time it took to finish the first one. It's not just an improvement, it's an insane leap... And the resources required to build the first one would have really hurt the empire's resources as it was- even if they scrapped every ship in the fleet, they'd still be working overtime to build the second one.

@MarioFanaticXV As if overtime was a problem for them, this is a galactic empire with access to as many resources as they want. And 15 years is not an insane leap if you already know how to make something; you don't have to design a doomsday weapon everyday but if you've got the plans and all you wanna do is make some improvements, it wouldn't take the same amount of time or near that much.

Besides they had a billion things to figure out in the construction of the original that they didn't when building the second, the second was built with self replicating droids and nearly ten times the man power. also part of the reason it was constructed in the endor system (besides to ensure secrecy) was the amount of metals and materials needed for construction.

@thenewpollution2 Hard to give a definitive yes or no... It's not a bad game, but it's definitely not as good as the first two Rogue Squadron games (and the ground missions are horrible). Still, there's a lot to do, including unlocking three of the old Atari Star Wars arcade games (one for each movie in the original trilogy), and if you have a friend to do co-op with, then you can play through most of the levels from the second game as well.

Anybody else think the RS 2 was WAY harder? If you got that close to a star destroyer with an A-Wing or jedi Starfighter, you would get killed in less than 5 seconds.

@usyc5 Rogue Leader was definitely harder- so much so that in the Battle of Endor, the Gold Medal requirements actually allowed you to lose a life. That being said, much like how the Jedi Starfighter's seismic charges can make getting golds a joke, so can the Slave I's Cluster Missiles (as can Vader's TIE Advanced A/X1, but that requires you to have all the golds to use it on any levels other than those you're playing as Vader on anyways).

Cutting up the tracks on a tank doesn't make the engine explode. Similer principle here.

The idea is that you can overwelm the shields with heavy fire, but afterwards given time they will recharge, but if you attack and destroy the sheild generaters dircetly, their won't be any way to recharge said shields.
