wtf that was creepy as hell....okay demon exorcism....that was fucked up!
honesty, you are going to have MS your whole life, which is a painful painful disease...you are just one of those people who will be on opiates forever...im jealous actually...all i ever get is some shitty 5mg vicodin...i would pay so much for those patches! im kidding, no amount of narcotics are worth having a disease as terrible as MS
@KATOMATE01 im on 480mg of oxy a day, dependant on it for chronic pain..sure it was nice to have that comfort feeling but dont get into it bc you lose it all.those 12 pills a day dont even touch me as far as the getting high aspect.they just help me with my pain....the body will find a way to adjust..and it ALWAYS does.I miss the 1st time i ever tried it and laid down for a nap or layed back on the deck for a tan no other place you'd want o be i was in u4ic utopia, like banging eve in the garden
Keep in mind that she was DEPENDENT, not an ADDICT. Addicts enjoy the HIGH, people who are dependent dont want to take drugs but have to because the withdrawals are so severe that it forces them to take more medication. People need to learn the difference. Patients and doctors are so naive when it comes to prescription pain medication and its dangers of dependence......
@MONAHCO1 - While I agree with your post for the most part, I do want to interject that most patient's who are dependent realize at some point there is a unintended consequence or side effect from taking opiates, and begin to experience their anti-depressant qualities & become quite thankful for them, esp. at times of high stress and pressure. This is of course not true for all, but I believe many experience this and may have a hard time letting go of the warm blanket it can provide.
She didn't start these pills to party, she was on them because she has a serious medical condition.
There was a police officer here in Kingman as well who became addicted to pain pills after being shot while on duty whilst saving a baby in a domestic murder-suicide incident. The guy was fired for it, which was total bulls**t! He became addicted and perhaps he wasn't forthcoming about it.but that's the nature of addiction, denial! Wish E would get some justice for him. This can happen to ANYONE!
Even sedated she is having terrible wd symptoms! Wow she must have had an insane tolerance. And she expects people to believe she went 2 weeks cold turkey on her own? I think not.
@dymd3z - Our goal is to speed the withdrawal under sedation. The patient must experience withdrawals in order to put it behind them. Better while sleeping than while awake!
anyone who has ever dealt with addiction from the addict point or a families eye ; ) appreciate this video more than others can understand! Good Luck Leann I wish you nothing BUT success with your recovery...I myself am an RN...good luck with that too... ; )
You need to first put the phisical dependency behind so you can properly assess the cause of use. everybosy id different and this is a humane treatment.
The demon that was being released was called Fentanyl :) The whole point was the detox....The Tv show was considering doing a follow up, so if you want to see more contact them and tell them! :) Thanks for the support
Physical withdrawal is nothing compared to the psychological hell you go through for a month after you stop taking the death pills.

This looks like a solution to the detoxification aspect but what about changing the behavior associated with addiction?

This treatment should be more available and not at such a high price, I'm sure the majority of opiate addicts would otherwise do it.
