It was absolutely stunning. I was probably at least 300 feet away and for a brief moment I wasn't sure it was under control, it was so enormous. This is a great video, but it can't do justice to how enormous and terrifying that pillar of flame was. I will never forget that moment.

I was next to the fire lane up front when the air raid siren went off, and firefighters and other "injured" people were stumbling out of the smoke in a kind of tragic commencement before the fireworks began. It was extremely eery, and if you saw that, it drove the point home. I loved the combination with the spectacle of the fireworks, which might have otherwise disgusted me except that was the point. Absolutely breathtaking. I'm surprised some of us still have eyebrows.

I loved the Air Raid Siren Right before the show started.... Man that thing was awesome.... the fire ball was so huge... it was just WOW!!!!
