My favorite meal and location to have a nice lunch. The local food stalls aren't used just by tourists. A lot of middle class Thais enjoy meals out, too.

Not true. They eat of the land, the way humans had for thousands of years. Although I don't think I'd have horseshoe crabs anyday. BTW, putting statues in the sea is creepy.
