How do we even know that Bush WAS AWARE of the plot? He is so absolutely stupid, his handlers may have just set him up and he believed the whole line of bullshit until he finally realized he was inside the web - and had to play along.

I hear what you're saying, but...a big BUT...if he was really that stupid, don't you think at one point he would have slipped up in some way? idk...Obviously this goes way back, I'm sure he was briefed before he took office about what's happening, just like Oblowit was briefed.....think about what he "promised". The only change that came with him being in office is him changing what he had said during the campaign
