  • Why is their rope over their necks?!?!?!?!

  • not really a fight....

  • *Bite bite bite*

    "OH FOOD! 8D"

  • mate, whos the spastic who tied rope round its neck?

  • poor horses !!!

  • I love how the chestnut was all "oh shit mum's looking...hi mum" *insert happy face*

  • @ :18 Cute horsie face :D

  • Glad I read other posts about the peat first, as my first thought was "where is the brown horse's halter" and then "geez, if my stall was this dirty I'd get cranky too". I think the 2nd concern might be ok if it's dark peat. Doesn't address the first concern, or my hope that these are just temporary stalls and the horses don't actually live all the time tied to one spot like this...and I hope the lady in the last frame is coming to break up those two as they obviously aren't getting along. :)

  • remind me of ginger and black beauty :)

  • lol at 0.18 some horse just jeld and the brown horse head looked funny

  • lmao I love the one on the left's face at 0:19, hes like "Who me? I was just saying Hi" then goes back to razzing the bay.

  • Im happy that those kinds of stalls are forbidden to house horses in here in Sweden now..

  • wow,,such beautiful and rustic stables,,Swedish I think

  • to all the people that claim that the horses need cleaner shavings. In sweden the horses often stand on peat, it's quite dark in colour but more efficient than straw. it holds the smell from the urine really good and keeps the hoofs dry. This is what it looks like in OLD swedish stables, but new laws claims that horses must not be tied up in the stalls, they must be able to walk around.

  • looks like an arguement to me..

  • :17 its like doug from up but instead its " horse!"

  • I love that horses are so easy to distract. Well most of the time. =p

  • The reason he does not wear a headcollar is that he always manage to break out of it...and having him running around loose in the stable is much worse. And these horses are well taken care of, they repaint the stable once a year...they have nice areas to play in outside when they are not working, they are properly fed, shooed and taken care of. Visst är det Kongo eller ser jag helt galet ? :P

  • why in hell did the person who lined up in his stall like that? is she stupid or what? waiting until the horse is calm before entering, otherwise it will learn to stay on course every time! it does not give an excited horse reward, only in the state you want it in.

  • anyway this must be a realy bad riding stables bad walls no headcollars realy dirty putting to horses next to each other like that.... oh dear what has the world come to ?

  • By the way guys... I know this is probably a riding school, and riding schools cut costs the ways they know how, but those horses ought to have fresher shavings to stand on unless you WANT unhealthy hooves, and, though costly, I really think that the walls between the horses should have bars. It's probably never gonna happen as the barn won't want to spend that miuch money (I can see how worn the room is) But they should invest in some proper skiljväggar.

  • Hahaha I LOVE how the chesnut looks back and is like "oooh we weren't fighting, is that our foood?"

  • I don´t like this kind of stable, the place for the horses is to small, but with this kind of stable that have place after the rules so the horse can lie down isn´t so bad. But I don´t like it.

This horses should not stand next to eatchother, even if it´s lunch time they have to be kind to eatchother. And if that´s not impossible with an other horse they are on the wrong place ( I guess it´s on a school).

  • @Unendlichkeitavth Horses have to work out their differences the way they know how. Perhaps they were new to each other. They'll bicker for a while and then settle in. It's no problem. I don't agree with that kind of stall either, just so that's said. They should be allowed to lie down at night =/

  • @Nizingur these are probably not the stalls they stay in at night, they are probably at a show or in the barn waiting there turn to be tacked up

  • @xevanescencexloverx6 I doubt it. It's a Swedish riding school. And they're getting fed. To me it looks just like the riding school I grew up in.

  • @0:21 oh your watching...!?

  • hardly a stall more like an inclosed field (very small tho)

  • i dont like stables like this, its dangerous for the people because ur basically walking into a horses bum (which we all know is bad) and the horse has no room to walk around inside, and no straw to pee on :/

  • @MusicMotives the horses have plenty of "straw" to pee on, it's called peat and it's something that is often used in sweden in stalls.

  • That's not a stable, thats a friggin box!

  • Tying a horse at the neck like that is really dangerous, thus the reason for head collars.

  • There, You taught them that if they fight they git an extra helping of grain!

  • @ 0:20 the chestnut rests his head on the divider and looks like "im not doin anything! its him!"

  • I don't like these type of stable.. too much freedom restricting.

  • Haha I love the innocent look that the chestnut gives the camera haha

  • it's feed time hence the tension, but this is the reason that PROPER stalls have higher "bite boards" or "bite bars" at the head end so that horses cannot bully each other.

  • They were like, just out of each other's reach xD

  • I hate that kinda stalls... they cant do anything in them...

  • Lol just what he needs, more hot feed!

  • The chestnut was like oh crap, I got caught!!

  • hes not hungry hes horny if you see closely chestnut is trying to kiss black beauty

  • Lol the brown horse at 0.18 secondes he/she is like are you recording? :D

  • The "who, me?" face gives me a chuckle, but I'm not thinking grain is the answer here.

  • @wlplatzek I agree, they're rewarding this behavior by giving them grain after fighting... and as other people said they can hurt/kill themselves with those ties

  • wow... if that horse is killed by hanging itself its your fault. Theres something called.... HALTER... mhmm its so you can tie your horse. you should buy one.. or two

  • u kno ur horses could break their necks if they tried to escape

  • If you have a horse that can't be tied by a halter, he needs to be in a box stall. And tying them so loosely while feeding is a bad idea.

  • WHY THE F*** do you tie your horses up like THAT?? sorry but it looks cruel!! close the damn box and get that thing off his neck!! and put something in between the guys so they can look at eachother but not fight!! this is the worst horse keeping i've ever seen!! the animal can barely move!!

  • Those stalls aren't too bad I guess but I think the wall where their heads are should probably be high enough so they can't get at each other or you could put a grill so they can see and talk but they can't get physical, BTW these guys have epic personalities.

  • Please, get those horses a place where they atleast can MOVE in, not just staring right into a wall 24/7 without even moving.

  • Give your horses real horseboxes!!!They are moving animals and it is the WORST to let them live in racks!!!In Germany this keeping of animals is even forbidden!!

Such people should be beaten for treating/keeping animals like that!

  • OMG why would u tie a horse up by its neck!!!!!!!

  • What I dont get is why the chestnut is tied up around the neck and doesnt have a halter on? Theres a green halter, to the right, on a hook. Heellooooo, I'm pretty sure thats what a halter was made for... to tie your horse up with, not to just hang it there to look at.

  • @barrelgirl95 He has like a belt around his neck, it's a little high so difficult to see :)

  • @semperlupe but still, its safer for both you and the animal if you use the proper equipment.

  • umm the black one has a halter but the chesnut is tied up like a dog....SOMEONE ESPLAIN THIS!! *mad face*

  • @BrlRcr4Life1 My pony has this too, I use it because he's easy to handle so he doesn't need a whole halter over his head ;) The horse is perfectly fine with it

  • Haha, bless, 'aving a little tiff. The chestnut at 0:18 ish is just like "OMG they saw that..."

  • chesnut: "what are you lookin at?"

  • thepetitionsite(dot)com/1/stop-2011-roundup/

  • Feeding time antics

  • they basically just got rewarded with food for biting, which means they'll do it again.

    stupid really

  • heres my oppinion: horses should have a stall:

that has bedding or at least a rubber matt instead of concrete bricks

    door/gate

big enough to be able to rotate

    not be tied up in

have a WALL for privacy and so that the horses cant threaten eachother over the food

did anyone else see the lady rush in there to feed him so that she wouldnt get kicked? lol put the horses in a stall, not a shelf.

  • @hunterjumper9799 true that! poor horses ):

  • WTH!! They're not stables!! Where's the door?? And the room?!! My sisters horse wounders round her stable randomly, what if they want to do that?!! And what if they wanna lie down?

  • 0:18 that ginger one lol

  • wth???? if the horse spooks they are gonna choke themselves!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its called a real stall, horses aren't dogs, and cant be put on a leash

  • The horse collar is perfect for horses who do not tie well with a halter, slip their halter, for exposing the head while grooming and they're also great for horses who have a habit of bolting when you take off their halter to put the bridle on or for horses with face injuries. They are no more dangerous than a halter, just because something is new or different doesn't mean it's cruel or dangerous, please do your homework before leaving a mean comment on someone's page, K? I love that horse!

  • Why the hell are they tied at the neck? they can hurt their necks like that..

  • @JumperGalForLife Yah, that's what I said.

  • I love the innocent look the chestnut gives the camera.. haha

  • ...wtf. Why did they tie them around the neck.

I mean could you be any dumber?

  • arent there any doors on those stalls

  • Horses that are waiting for feed will always act like that.

You can see it in all big stables where they go round with the food, while the horses are in the stable

  • 1st. you an idiot for obviously not knowing how to stable horses-- you should NEVER, NEVER tie a ROP around a horses neck!

2nd. i love how the chestnut looks back at the camers like "i know your there! STOP STARING AT ME!" then just continues lol

  • you shouldn't be standing there, the chestnut might have kicked you.

  • i am an animal welfare inspector and let me just say that the stables and the way that those horses are tied is completly unsuitible!

  • i don't usually comment on videos like this but why is the tied around by the neck she/he should'nt be he/she should at least hae a REAL stable or a halter on!!! :)

  • they really shoudnt be tied up like that, they need space to move around. i think these people are terrible horse owners i mean seriously. and besides horses do that all the time, its not very amusing

  • @kitchona1 They don't LIVE in there idiot.

  • @kitchona1 that is just where they feed them they do not live there all the time

  • i saw like 5 hazards haha lol not cool :)

  • i hate when people use tie stalls, its so unfair to the horses. and having them tied with ropes around their necks, talk about safe. Not to mention the little girls running up behind them. the horses were nice looking though.

  • wow. Is this 1894? are people still using stalls like this?

  • @HandsInTheDirtAgain that is just where they feed them they do not live there all the time

  • @HandsInTheDirtAgain i was gunna say they are pretty small, damn

  • @HandsInTheDirtAgain It's in Sweden. Many European stables have stalls like this, it's not as uncommon as one might think

  • @HandsInTheDirtAgain Yeah my riding school had something like that put it was smaller. It was so stupid as they had one put side (like in a shelter) and the horses can just wander away !

  • what kind of stalls are those and why are ther ropes around there necks as halters

  • A stable is at least 3m by 3m. Darn these are 'stands'. Owning a horse in those kind of stands, is not normal these days. Try and get a normal stable, please!!!

  • where's the stable then?

i just see two horse standig between two walls

  • why is the horse tied by his neck??? if he got spooked he could break it! shame shame

  • lol that was playing

  • The stalls are fine-they have enough room to turn around.

  • @21Sarabi they can't turn around though...

  • they need a bigger stall. id be cranky too if i was cooped up in a stall like that.

  • Schlechter Stall !!!!

    Bad Stable !!!!!

  • They were just "horsing around". Boys will be boys.

  • alot of people are saying wow those stables are so small and cruel but i used to work in a barn where they had stalls like that only for feeding time and sometimes htey have spaces like that at shows where you need to stay a few days im not sticking up for them or anything but im just saying what i know

  • var är det här filmat? det såg ut som HARK i hallsta men det är i köping va?

  • @love55e det är HARK. Den bruna hästen är Kongo

  • The Stable is so small o.O

  • That chestnut looks really cute when he turns and pricks his ears, what a darling :) x

  • hahahaha wen he or she looks at you!

  • they should have proper stable wiv doors nd shtuff.. or atleast net inbetween the stables so that kind of behavior cant happen!

  • Awww... food. It makes everything all right. ;P lol

I know that one very well. Horses get pretty fiesty around feeding time. Demanding!

  • N'awww, its illegal for those stalls in my country :/

  • this is the rspca here can you stop the fights

  • haha made me laff, bless them. the chestnut keeps looking back at the person recording like ' are they looking ' :L

  • das sollen ställe bzw.boxen sein ?

    Die armen Pferde...

  • collars???? this is a horse not a dog?!?!?!!

  • @breyerquest , They have horse collars for yrs. You didn't know? You have to be in the real horse world though. Not just the plastics.

  • Collars? It's a horse, not a dog.

  • @WashingtonTan funny fucker.

  • haha its face at 00:18 hahaha aww...

  • Where the hek r they!? Thats not even a stable!

  • and people complain about the NYC carriage horses! they have WAY better stables then these ones!

  • those stables are safe ive got them at my horse riding

  • omg das ist doch kein leben so ...

  • haha love the look on the horses face when he realises there is people watching!

  • it is kinda funny because they are like

    Chestnut :"You got any food

    Black :" NO

    Chestnut :"Yes you do "

    Black:"Oh humans act sweet "

but they are tied at the neck they need some real stalls with doors or at least hook a rope up where they can't get over it

  • @horsesaremylife31899 definition of stall = no door.

  • @nags2bitches There are stalls like that with no door they tie a rope to them in to feed them that isn't were they live all the time

  • Why is it that most abuse (or mistreatment) towards a horse is usually from English-style riders? It makes me so upset, they braid their manes and shine their feet and try to make them look all pretty and all they care about are looks and prizes.. i'm not saying they're all like this but i see it more often than western style riders.

  • @caileydawnosaur i find this incredibly offensive.

i've NEVER seen any horse be mistreated in England, there is alot of health and safety precautions taken. At all the stables i've been there has never been two horses who dislike each other together.

Look at all the other countries before you make revolting comments like that.

  • @cheekylibs I completely agree. I lived in England for 3 months and I'm telling you if my horse lived in one of the barns there he would think he died and went to heaven. I've never seen such prestigious, nice barns, the horses are babied over... BABIED. It's incredible. Frankly I've seen many of them treated horribly over here in the US, my horse being an exception, he the 21 one year old gelding who is treated like a big pet.

  • @caileydawnosaur yhh this is realy offensive to english riders i treat my horse like a king no shows that mutch barley ani baths fun rides and hacks and hes coat still shuned just cous i groom him while he eats hishay do you call that mistreated?? o.O

  • @XxchooxchooxX Way to take things out of context. If you guys would read EVERY word i wrote without getting all butthurt you would notice that I said that I wasn't saying that about all english riders. But that I see it found more in english than western style. and yes there are western riders that mistreat their horses as well. it all comes down to the person. but alot of horses get mistreated in jumping. Chill out and get over yourself I obviously wasn't talking about you.

  • @caileydawnosaur i have never ever sen a horse been mistreated and in england exept from swolen heded idiots who look dwn their nose at peple and mabie their hofs shine cous peple look after them we have a diff way of things in england and some pple are tryin to prove themslfs to be gd riders when peple say they are not and their is nfink wrong wid plaiting if you can plait why not show it off as long as it dont hurt the horse in ani waii

you should lok at other countrys b4 critasizing england

  • @XxchooxchooxX Wow you are an idiot. I never said anything about England. Why don't you go cry about your country, go on.

  • @caileydawnosaur you said ( and this is a qote form you) 'Why is it that most abuse (or mistreatment) towards a horse is usually from English-style riders' and it is not my falt my learnin is afected by the fack that i an dislextic and im still set one for scince and math :O wow funny that isnt it iyou should stop bitching about england cous we dont mistreat horses over here how would you like it if i sed that americans seem to always make baby calfs suffer in rodoes huh everythink has rights

  • @XxchooxchooxX ENGLISH-STYLE RIDERS. Wow, I never said anything about England. Not all English style riders are from england.

  • @XxchooxchooxX LEARN TO READ! Omg, no word was spoken about ENGLAND, but about ENGLISH-STYLE! Excuse me for the caps. You know what english-style is, right? --'

Perhaps you can't read very well, but I just want to make clear that she never said anything about England. Read things carefully before drawing conclusions which are not true.

  • @B4Malfoy not being funny yhh but i sed im done here i have heard to mutch bullshit bout english style riders and i am sick of it ok im not sayin they are perfectbut if i wanted to i coud pic falts in wetsern riders too peeple should stop critasizing english style riders unless they are pepered to take it themselfs dont bether replying cous i an done here

  • This is abuse !

  • @69johnwc Your stupid

  • What the hell is this??? Horses tied at the neck?!?!? If those were cribbing collars, I'd get that, but NOT tied to something. Somebody's gonna find a strangled horse with a broken neck one morning.

  • it's a bad,bad,bad, yes, terrible stable!!!! poor horses.

  • feels more like a kennel..

  • lol theyr like what? grr, what? grrrrrr, what? lol

  • so then u guys feed.... way to teach em to be bad to get fed...and nice stalls.....ha

  • u should not tie your horses up by the neck and try not to have stalls where horses are able to smell eachother and start a fight

  • i was hoping the horse would kick the girl as she approached behind him, what a fail video

  • Omg , they fight just cause they Will have food

  • OMG the horses don't have a really stable!!

  • id be there shouting at that chestnut "GET UP!!!!!!"

  • dumb.

  • i don't even see a stand of hay - no wonder these horses fight at meal times! they need a constant access to roughage, not just a bucket of oats!

  • @vixitrixalina and everyone else - the horses are in straight stalls for FEEDING (grain). Can you imagine the fights they would have over grain if they weren't separated? I imagine these horses are turned out EXCEPT for feeding time, with free access to hay.

The critics are the ones who need to learn something first (i.e. not all horses are kept in box stalls for most of their lives - some get turned out and only brought in to eat).

  • that belt is also tight around his neck he wouls ave trouble breathing and eating with that on

  • cool video i would gave it 5 stars

  • OMG ! you people dont no what u are doing the chesnut had a head coller but u tied a belt or some sort around his neck if you dont now what u are doing why be around horses !

  • @bluemoonstables123 it is called a halter and and it was a lead arouns it neck. learn what you are saying before you say it

  • @jukka2311 well i call it wat i want to call it ! and y has i got a lead around its neck

  • what happened to shavings? theyre standing in manure

  • what kind of a stable is that?! A horse could choke himself/herself if they got spooked! get a bigger stall, with gates.

  • What the hell is around the sorrel's neck? The black one has a halter..but what is that???

  • @bopaction -

It looks like a belt with a lead rope attached.

  • This isn't a stable, this is a fucking Atrocity! -.-

    Fortunately that's forbidden here.

OMG! You can better give your horse to the slaughter than do THIS with it! -.-

  • Not fighting, just hungry...

  • I feel bad for the horses...it's not a very nice barn...same with the "collars" they have :(

  • r those there stalls???

  • I certainly know thats not really fighting my horses do that all the time at feed time, becuase 1 of my horses only likes the 1 feed bowl and only wants it to him self, but thats def not fighting

  • >< at like 0:19 he's like oops they see me gotta act like a good boy for a bit

  • why are there no backs on the stalls thats dangerous!

  • Comment removed

  • First- I HATE how that poor chestnut is tied up. Second- Just being a little angry at each other-- one of them thinks that the other is gonna steal it's food. It's normal.

  • @ZooTycoon2Forever76 stupid the reason that they are tied is so that they do not get into fights and lame themselves or others

  • Is the chestneut horse just standing there or is he tied up by his NECK/ GOOD way 2 break a horses neck if he gets spooked and freaks out and tries 2 run away. . .just saying. . .

  • @ApachenMe now im not saying this is how it is cause i've never been there before but i believe that the ties around the horses necks are safety ties (for those who don't know its a rope made to break away if enough weight is exerted on it) so i don't think the horses are in any danger.also they are right there if for some reason the tie didn't break off they could get in and free it from a stall next to it.but if it's not a safety tie then i'm with you on that it's not safe for them like that

  • @ApachenMe the horse wouldnt be able to do that bcus it wouldnt be able to breathe if it fought too much so it would let up or if its stupid pass out and the pressure would be releived from its wind pipe,

  • IF you can't afford to buy a halter, don't own a horse!

  • @bethrobbins getting choked by the rope will teach them not to fight and make them easier to handle
