Don't tell me that the elbow would've hurt the guy. If you've ever played ball, you know what it's like to get an elbow here or there. A normal person either lifts his game and plays harder, or retaliates with a comparable act. What this guy did in retaliation is not comparable. It screams serious mental disorder. Thats pretty bad but I guess thats what happans when people are continually targeted and racialy abused on the court. I don't n know what punishments were given out but something needs to be done to stamp out racism and violence in sport. These are not mutally exclusive and this is a classic expample of what racism can cause.

@krizzo47 It is a tragedy to be suspended from play for 3 1/2 years because dirty and shit player such as Phillpot-Evans who in 23 min per game average 3,5PFS and 1,4Pts. This is not act of rasicm but Tribunal (Gerry Glennen) showed his ethnic hatred when he gave JJ 3 1/2 years and nothing to Phillpot-Evans. By Law SEABL and BIGV players can get 10% - 20% of max penalty (in this case it will be 3 - 6 months). But it is law for Aussies not WOGS.

It was held by an independant tribunal that decided because of the seriousness of the actions to waive the loading usually accorded to Big V and SEABL players. It's nothing to do with racism. The guy is lucky he's not behind bars for doing that. If that incident happened outside a nightclub, it would be all over the news. It was a dog act. The ultimate act of a coward. Stomping on a guy when he is on the ground and defenceless.

He didn't punishe side who started fight and deliberatly elbowed Jadranko, side who played "fair" and wanted to take of Jadranko from the game or to injure him.

Why he didn't punish him?

That side is PHILLPOT - EVANS.
