I've had melodyne for awhile only used for edits but not as much as an effect. Good vid on how to approach creating a t-pain like effect. My only question is how were you able to make your video split screen between viewing the monitor and you being on camera? Or what program did you use? 2 cameras..

Melodyne is the reason I stopped using AutoTune. Don't get me wrong, autotune is good for beginners, but Melodyne kicks ass. And something you guys may want to note: when editing a vocal that HAS that T-Pain effect in Melodyne, Melodyne gets rid of the effect and makes it sound more human. Of course, you can CREATE the effect, too...which is good. Melodyne=awesome :)

@Vitilsky With Melodyne it's up to the user to get the sound they want. It's called Pitch Correction, programs / vsts like Antares Autotune does it automatically and it will not allow you to modify the pitch in the same way as Melodyne.

when i open pitch modulation, they dont have the line things.

I actually realized that those line transitions are not very important, the important part is that you double click on the audio in the middle so it flattens the modulations. If you want the transitions to sound cool you'll need to make sure you separate the notes and move them so they can slide up or down.
