...I literally knew these guys from the beginning...if you were a kid anywhere around the Finger Lakes of NY, in those heady days...you were a Dukes fan. ,Their music just made you move...(some of the guys even danced..!!)...thanks for the Post...
@mrbe5a1r Casey Kasem's American Top 40 was based on Billboard's Hot 100 Pop Chart (or the top forty songs from that listing). "Give Me One More Chance" charted at #80 in 1968 then fell off. Casey's radio show didn't debut until two years later in 1970.

This is one band that should have broken into the AT 40 in 1967. Loved this tune when I was a kid. Casey Kasem, where were you on this one, man?
