My friend is on Medical Ins. They just took away vision and dental insurance. There are now some types of doctors that will not see her anymore due to her coverage and she must go to the county health clinic for a visit with those types of doctors. America is on the verge of bankruptcy. We can not afford the entitilements than we already have. How can you add another entitlement? Europe is at a 50% take rate. And if they can not get Greece under control the whole thing could tumble down.

Doctors do not want to take goverment health insurance because it does not reimburse them as well as private insurance. Doctors did not spend all their time and money for education for low wages. Many would make more by retiring than on strickly goverment wages. Goverment run insurance is not the answer. Ask a doctor.

John Stewart is a liberal but i've always liked him. he's very honest about himself and what he thinks about other people plus he is funny. I don't like FOX, but MSNBC is worse than FOX. My friend is on Medical Ins. They just took away vision and dental insurance. There are now some types of doctors that will not see her anymore due to her coverage and she must go to the county health clinic for a visit with those types of doctors. America is on the verge of bankruptcy. We can not afford the entitilements than we already have. How can you add another entitlement? Europe is at a 50% take rate. And if they can not get Greece under control the whole thing could tumble down.

That does not even make sense. Firstly, having more doctors mean that they have to work more? In the US 1/3 of the cost of healthcare goes on paper work, admin and profit for insurance companies.
The quality of health care, that varies from nation to nation, Western Europe its pretty cutting edge and available to everyone. We have higher life expectancy & quality of life re health.

Doctors do not want to take goverment health insurance because it does not reimburse them as well as private insurance. Doctors did not spend all their time and money for education for low wages. Many would make more by retiring than on strickly goverment wages. Goverment run insurance is not the answer. Ask a doctor.

Carrying concealed weapons has never been legal in the UK. A limited number of weapons could be licensed for use at firing ranges or for hunting. They had to be kept locked in an approved cabinet and registered with the police. Personal integrity checks were made. The law changed to restrict handguns completely after the Dunblane massacre. There was no subsequent increase in violence & only the police firearms unit carry guns.
Citywide US restrictions in a sea of guns are useless.

The two undercover reporters were pretty good, I give them props, the only thing fox news did is break the story first. It's not like it's not all over CNN and everything else now. I like that Acorn will be shut down probably. Rick Sanchez did some real journalism about lobbyists the other day. Now all the media shows the information with their narrow view point not letting you have all the information about the subject. Only local news seems to deliver that old style of reporting, but that's just about your neighborhood, not important major events.

What they didn't tell you is that the American Medical Journal (a much more reliable source of such information) conduct a survey of doctors and 75% approved of a public option. John Stewart is a liberal but i've always liked him. he's very honest about himself and what he thinks about other people plus he is funny. I don't like FOX, but MSNBC is worse than FOX. The best to me is CNN they tend to more center (and yes some journalists are left or right but overall it evens out). CNN tends to be the only news station with any journalistic integrity anymore.

'Balance' is only unbiased when the two sides are equal. If the two sides are not equal, imposing equality is biased.
The media bias is typical of social elites, who categorically apply emphasis to special interests. It's analogous to affirmative action. On one hand, not promoting those interests seems biased. On the other hand, artificially promoting those interests is biased against everyone.
Which is more accurate depends on where the center is. If we knew, it wouldn't be controversy.
