  • So I see where the Ultimate Warrior got his name from.

  • Jeez...this looks like the morning after a night at my house!

  • This movie is very good and Yul was so handsome and talented... I love him! ♥

  • that was nuts when that dude in the beginning got smoked by a boulder.

  • People talking about Chuck Norris. Yul Brynner is the real badass. No girly hair on that scalp.

  • Never Another! Yul Brynner you had it man and you always will!

  • It's a little known fact that this scene wasn't really acting. They just filmed Yul Brynner doing what he normally does day to day. It's true, look it up.

  • put some clothes on if you don't have any muscles to show...

  • Great film !! this is a great b film, it came out 4 years before mad max. This may have been the first post nuclear war film made.

  • Don't have a shirt?Pull out a knife...

  • Wow he came out of nowhere and sliced every asshole that wanted some.

  • Shank a muthafucka!!! RAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

  • kinda funny how guys didn't have to be ripped back then. wish it was the same.

  • Nobody messes with Yul and gets away with it!

Yul is no doubt the best actor of all time and I'm a huge fan of him.

He was beautiful, his voice was also beautiful!

It was loud and full of strength yet also gentle and soft all at the same time

There can never be another Yul, But he lives on through his movies.

  • @KingTut015 Have you read his biography book.

  • @halcaannen

No, not yet, But I want too!

    Have you?

  • @KingTut015 I have read the google books version which is basically nineteen 19 pages out of two hundred 200. So today I ordered it from the Barnes And Nobles WEBSITE and it costed me almost $38 with taxes and shipping and handling here in Miami, FL.

  • @halcaannen

    Thats so cool !!

    $38.00 is not too bad,

I really won't to get it!

  • This was one of the first post-apocalyptic action movies, ala "Mad Max." I'm willing to be every movie from "The Book of Eli" to "Fist of the North Star" borrowed something from this film.

  • Yul was totally unique. Westworld was undoubted inspiration for The Terminator.

Yul can't be reasoned with, can't be argued with, his one mission is to kill

    Bad-ass robot

William Smith one of my fav heavies, that gravel shard voice and intimidating physique.

remember him in Graveyard of Horror--unique vamp pic, but he was ubiquitous in the 60's and 70's

  • the fighter bronson

  • death to the hippies viva Yul Brynner!!!

  • I guess the shaved head was supposed to distract you from the fact that the "tough guy" in the movie has bottle cleaners for arms.

  • The definition of a "Good Body" was something like Yul's at the time

It doesn't much have the abs and biceps that we have in our conception today, but there was a slimness and a "stick your stomach in, and your chest out" sorta thing. they used to train people to be that way (it's now not even considered healthy)

    Just an interesting thing :-)

  • @sysarchitect Can't be any worse than shooting your ass full of steroids.

  • @kingofwaverly Well said!

  • wut is this crap?

  • His hand is chained or tied to William Smith's hand at the end while William Smith is dangling down a deep concrete shaft , William Smith says something like "Your gonna die with me", and Yul Brynner cuts his own hand off and William Smith falls to his death at the bottom of the shaft

  • @undergroundbasement Yea..That was some choice he had to make.

  • Don't mess with us shaved headed guys!!!

  • Yul was a beefy man. Even in the ten commandments the guy was probably one of the few actors who could intimidate Charlten Heston.

  • At that age Yul still had a good looking face

  • you can download this movie on torrent sites like Torrent Pond.

  • @CowboyBebop444 Thanks for the info Cowboy.

  • i have this movie...i think it would be cool if Vin Diesel did a remake of it

  • Do you have the complete film at hand? Please upload it. Thank you.

  • The Fat Boys (a rap group from the 80's) said "Brrrrrr! STICK em ! ah ah ah Stick em! Brrrrrr! stick em! ah ah ah stick em!"

    lol

  • Jesus vs. Ramses, so cool

  • Yul Brynner , Riddick's Great great grandfather :P

  • This movie kicks arse, it has been one of my favourites since I saw it as a kid. Von Sydow, Yul Brunner, Conan's Father, post apocalyptic cannibals, what more could you ask for!

  • Brilliant film; really bleak premise.

  • I love this movie is there any place to see it online? I have not seen it in about thirty years. I would like to watch it again.

  • jesus had none of these guys heard of............a gun?

  • Yul Brynner = The King of Knife Shanking (compared to the criminals and knifecrime assaulter we have today).

  • Yul Brynner has always been one of my favorite actors--I seen this movie back in 1976 when I was in my teens--and I thought it awesome.(hadn't seen it since)

Would somebody please post the whole movie.

    Great clip, thanks for sharing.

  • @CrispinFlora I would like to see it again myself if you find it online please let me know . I will do the same. I have not seen it in about thirty or so years

  • @baileytom78 You can see it by punching up

"watchmovies".Can see the whole movie .

  • bil je ful dobr igralc ane

  • He was also a master guitarist. He simply did not get the recognition he deserved.

  • @tardwhisperer I heard he was also a great photographer taking many snaps on set of of his co-stars and the like.

  • @lisduggan64--He was also a guitar virtuoso and sang quite well. Extremely talented man. R.I.P.

  • Yul = teh badass.

  • im Yul Brynner bitch

  • Little 4 inch skinning knife. Reinforces the whole no nonsense idea behind Brenner's character.

Robert Clouse directed William Smith again as a bad guy in Darker Than Amber. Do a search for that to see a great fight scene with him and Rod Taylor. Talk about a real feel. In about a minute Rod Taylor is torn to ribbons.

  • I remember seeing this movie for the first time on public tv abc 7 here in new york city around 11:30 late night. Loved this movie.

  • Fantastic Actor! One of the best! He is sadly missed. :(

  • they got their butts handed to them by Rameses

  • I miss the days when fight scenes were this realistic.

  • Best part is he doesn't attack the ones who don't want to fight.

  • 5/5

I would like to see the rest of this.

    looks interesting.

  • I was this movie for the very first time in 1986 on channel 7 abc new york city late night 11:30 PM. Great Movie.

  • moves pretty good for pot belly

  • He was 55 at the time of this film. Looked pretty good I thought.

  • Violence Jack must've taken a few pointers from this film.

  • u know who really kick ass more than this guy charlesbroson wach my vids of his movies deathwish 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and deathhunt
