Universal Republic gives total control to their artists letting them record whatever they like.

Most generous labe li think.

RCA gives no control to their artists.

Look at christina aguilera who is also signed to RCA, none of the songs she has is written by her.

It's sad really lol.

Can't wait till kelly is off with RCA.

I just hope RCA can atleast let kelly have control of one of her albums.

I agree the same thing happens to Avril Lavigne, RCA forced her to record crappy songs like Smile and What the Hell, RCA really needs to pay more attention to their artists's needs...

I can't wait for Kelly to leave RCA, i bet labels will line up to sign her :)

I think it's because she made a deal with them, that if they were to release 'My December' she would have to do 3 more. So they basically didn't count 'My December' since it wasn't RCA's "vision"

@THXXDLOL I think she has a 6 record deal + movie contract (from justin to kelly), can't wait till she's with Universal, Virgin records or even taylor swifts big machine (although the head scott whatever is a dick), he pays well though :P

i cant wait til Kelly finally leaves RCA cuz its a lousy record label. They keep screwing her for a long time now, since Breakaway when kelly had to fight with the record label to release "because of you" as a single. Then the whole My december and already gone drama. Enough is enough.

I really like her music and she seems like a sweet girl, but DAMN she is unprofessional! Just because you are a famous singer doesn't mean you should respect your coworkers. If you have a problem with your label, work it out or don't sign a contract to sing music that you don't like.
