  • by the way im not to sure about the difference in color , these days every one changes the color of their mustangs and they still ask a fortune

  • i had a 67, it was my first car in high school. im 20 now and god hoe i miss my baby, i sold it to help out the family witht some cash through hard times. i woke up crying 3 times after dreaming about my baby no joke, i preffer my pony of my girl haha shhh :)

  • @calpolyBAM how* over instead of* "of" sorry typos

  • i love Ford Mustangs

  • pony cars hahah

  • I had the pleasure of taping a birthday celebration for THE great Americvan car, the Ford Mustang. type into search: capri mustang 40th...................2 other suggested videos: 1: weird drive in moment AND 2: cruisin' in coldwater. THANK YOU

  • what the insurence on one of these like just as a summer car??

  • @towncar16 You can get antique insurance, the only requirement is the mileage has to be below 2,000 miles per year. if its just a summer car, you can easily get cheap insurance

  • This sucked , no mention of the c code engine and how to tell the 64 .5 from 65 and hey the pony interior was called interior decor package and went through 68 but with no horses on 67 and 68 but all the woodgrain in tact

  • ive always wanted a 64

  • great video.....been restoring my 64 since 1998/// bought it as a compleate junker..almost had to shoot it.......its come a long way and it is a custom car....wouldnt trade it for nothing!!!

  • I find it interesting that you tell us that you can determine year by the dash, but then you discuss the pony interior without saying that in 1965 if you had the pony interior, you got the circular gauges on the dash. You also forgot to mention the "C" code engine, which was the 289 with a 2 barrel carb. The "A" and "K" code engines had the 4 barrel carb. Oh, and one more thing about the GT. All the things he mentioned are really easy to fake, so be careful when buying your own (will post more)

  • GT Mustang. The only real safe way to know it is a true GT that I have found is to have documentation from new, but their are other things you can check besides what he mentioned.

  • I have the T coded 66 and 101 hp is a little embelished. I think it pulls around 35 hp. That is why I didn't think twice about buying it and saving the money for a turn key car and putting that money into fixing the 6 banger the way I wanted it with a v8 and all the fixings like modern radio and killer paint. I can do it all myself and didn't think twice about it because I knew it would be cheaper my way and still have money for gas for about 10 years.

  • @TheHortond here here! same with me. instead i put a modern FI set up engine from a new stang. but be wary inline 6 motors are becoming harder and harder to find bec of this same reason.. every dumps it and puts a v8 in its place. but i like the way you think.

  • That was for suckers, show diff between 64 and 65.

  • my popall has a true 64 mustang convertible with the rare289 its been in storage praticley since 87

  • i got a 66 mustang 5 days ago it looks just like the one at 1:48 its so fucking badass

  • how much you got it for

  • 10k

  • Where's my comment?

Not every A- or K-coded car is automatically a GT!

  • thanks for the tips... the mustang is so reliable

  • Great information to know on the Mustang!

    Thanks

  • i loce mustangs....
