  • Facinating to see your progress! Both songs that you picked were fairly amusing. :3 (LOL the first, ooo the second~!)

  • What kind of paper do you use? I lurked the comments a bit and you said you used 'animation paper'? I want to know because it looks so easy to see through it and trace the rough sketch that was the other side.

  • @moealharbi I use 12 field 22lb animation paper. It blends marker differently than laser paper which I'll sometimes use. The laser paper makes the colors really vivid!

  • Even after watching that I still can't follow just quite how you did it and your other works. Must be innate talent. Thanks for sharing.

  • @FloatingCat I don't want to be "that guy", but no. Drawing isn't innate talent, it's a lot of hard work. To say it's something that some people have an easier time handling than others, that's one thing. But to say it's purely talent undermines all of the work that goes into learning how.

  • What were you doing when you flip the page over @1:32 ..during the marker coloring process? Are you coloring the back too?

Whenever I use marker over a graphite pencil drawing it smears. What kind of non smearing pencil do you use?

  • @krusten I flipped it over to erase the pencil on the other side. Since the inside color of the umbrella is light, on animation paper the old pencil work will permanently bleed through. I usually just erase the pencils lines till I can barely see them, or just try to work around the #2 pencil. It's hard to get that stuff to not smear. When I use the col-erase pencils I let it smear with the markers, which is what I think you do too?

  • I love your choice of music. =D

    ohh you, final fantasy girl.

  • Wow! It's really interesting to see how you do your work and make "magic" with your markers. It also looks like you sketch both sides of the paper. Does that add depth to the character when you do that?

  • @shortandsweetable I flip the paper so it's easier to see the mistakes in the drawing. Your eyes get used to seeing things a certain way, it's a trick some people use so they can see the drawing in a fresh perspective. :)

  • @potatofarmgirl Oh, okay. That's good to know :)

  • @potatofarmgirl so your a girl and your not married and your AWESOME at animations are you going to make more?
