1. You are preaching apathy. If you are a democrat, then you have to admit that persistence paid off in this election.
2. People who don't have hedge funds don't have to worry about losing money is completely wrong -- Social Security surplus of 1 trillion was cleaned out by Bush. If you voted for him, then you're part of the problem.
3. You are talking about the PSA video and adding a voice to its viral message.
Sure, the electoral college gets to vote for us, but we still to vote on issues (slots in Maryland for example) and our delegates (who make up the electoral college). Cynicism is all well and good, my friends, but get the fuck out there and vote.
Very well said, it is true that if you don't live in a swing state your vote isnt going to mean that much in less everyone decides not to vote in your state but how likely is that to happen? I live in New York and I'm aware that is always goes to the democrates so I'll vote but I'm aware I'm not helping or hurting in anyway, if I was in Florida maybe I'd make a diffrence.
